Very awesome tutorial man!!!! Another thing that astounds me with your tutorials, is that the beginning parts focuses on basics, some of which I have forgotten, like the fillet tool for splines and the curve when tapering! Thanks!!!!! Two thumbs up!!!

@3dsMaxHowTos Amazing tutorials. You can't find such detailed and high quality videos like these for free but here you are to help expand Max's userbase.
I just wished you showed how you accomplished to make the wheels' front all quads - you skipped that part on your video.
@lordavius you mean the modeling of the wheels? it's just basic polygon modeling really. I started with a cylinder for the center nub, and then I created a tube for the outer part of the wheel and I attached the two together. After that, I bridged parts between the tube and the cylinder to create the 5 spokes. The rest is fine-tuning really, i.e. inset, extude, bevel, connect, chamfer etc... I'll consider working out a few tutorials on such modeling techniques in the future. Cheers.
@3dsMaxHowTos Yep! That's the part I was talking about, because in the video you end up with nice quads on the center of the wheel but you didn't show how you got there (actually, when rebuilding the model you left it with one terrible N-Gon)
Anyways, thank you very much for coming back and answering my question! Hope you the best on your future videos!
@lordavius Aaah! sorry, my mistake, I thought you were talking about a different model (the tank wheel in the tank tread tutorial). No, with the light cycle wheel, I simply used the cut tool on the inside "polygon" starting with a cross-like division, and then adding more divisions to end up with quads. You're right though, I should have shown it, it would have made the video only slightly longer. something to consider for the next time. Cheers.
