hey quick question to anyone that knows the answer. When akuma jumps over ryu does the dp auto correct or does john choi do the dp motion when he jumps over like he would block a cross up?

John Choi said he doesnt auto corect dp, instead he does a change of direction dp, if he sees a cross up he presses forward facing Akuma when akuma jumps over he then inputs down-forward towards akuma (so it will look like forward-down-downback punch.)
