Took us 11 hours with skins. We punched through a few times but don't plan on having any snow bridges to cross the thousands of creeks raging that area!
Thanks for the post. It's been "everybody's guess" what the trail conditions are because of the late winter. We'll be up there at the end of the month, but weren't planning on needing skis. Do you think we can make it in decent time without snow flotation? Maybe just crampons for the ridge?
