The Lebanese gov openly created this crisis in order to put Hezbollah in lose-lose situation. It was not in the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese unity. Looks like a big part of the public who were in the gov camp read this. The gov is seen more and more like an agent of US/France. Hezbollah is seen as and is a patriotic front who has actually defended Lebanese territory.

Ask the Lebanese people (who just escaped the clutches of Syria) whether or not they approve of Hezbollah's violence. Were it not for the U.S., and our presence in the region, putting our thumb on Syria after the Harari assasination, the villianous scum would still occupy and control much of Lebanon. Our "interference" had only had positive results as of late.

Hezbollah, is the defender of the arabs, and muslims. the gov is a stooge of US/israel and arab dictaors like saudi and egypt. Hezbollah wants dialogue but the gov wants to provoke it on insistence of US/israel. And nasrallah always maintained the fact that lebanon will never be like the Islamic republic of iran, cos it wouldnt work, and do u know in the lebanon war he paid $50k to each family in beirut, sunni or shia. Hezbollah did not reimburse everyone for the damaged property and lost loved ones. Only a few non-muslims who got caught in the conflict were ever paid. Most of the money went to Shiites and some to loyal Sunni supporters.

Much of the money came from Iran. Even though Israel was the one who did it Hezbollah is responsible for giving Israel an excuse to invade Lebanon.
