@matthewmcld I haven't tested this personally, but I'm fairly certain that yes in fact you can freely heal pets without worry of the purple debuff. Good luck!

Personally, I'd like to see raid dps/hps charts while youre raiding. If you don't think it'd get in the way. I'd like to see during some of these fights and on certain phases how much hps are going out. I think it'd be nice to see anyways, give some people an idea of incoming damage vs heals. Especially for big spikes

@Nuffiej Just extra healing when needed. Since this video, we've been using a Death Knight tank, which is far and away the best tank for this encounter due to magic damage reduction cooldowns and on-demand absorbs, so that will help a great deal if you have access to one.

Very nice, question though, on your guide to another, ooze order matches up except for a couple of combos

. Purple Red Yellow Black, you say yellow they say purple. Yours seems to take less damage, but the other seems to let us just health though hit. I Id agree with yours more.

The other is

Purple Green Black Blue, you say black they say green. Would we just base it off if we have good AOE damage (kill green) vs more single target (kill black)??

@ace96403 Yellow is by far the most damaging effect to the raid AND it spawns two sets of Black adds if both are active, so in PRYB, killing Yellow halves the DPS required for adds and dramatically lowers damage to the raid.

For PGBB, *conclusively* killing Black is better: Green does the lowest damage to the raid of all colors AND doesn't require extra DPS to manage adds. The easiest remainder-combo to deal with is Purple, Green, Blue, so always aim to get that remainder if possible.

@gabestah Just wanted to Give you an update. after 3 weeks of using your strat, and addon (ty so much for that) we got Yor down. It only took us that long because our healers could NOT heal purple. we even died to purp/yellow/black/blue >_< but they eventually figured out there shit and we got the kill. also got warlord, and ultraxion. Anyways tyvm for taking the time to write the guide and addon information, it has proven invaluable, subscribed!

after learning yellow causes 2 spawns on black, would you change the priority on Black/Yellow/Red/Green? You killed green on this and in other videos i see players prioritize yellow.

@bloodpuremager No, because on Heroic Green forces you to spread out, and being away from the boss at all with Red means huge spike damage. We tried it for a while but it seemed near impossible to heal, whereas killing Green was still a ton of healing but more "even" across the raid and thus more manageable.

One small addition: It is possible to 2 tank 2 heal this fight, provided you have access to a druid tank, who will be in cat form for most of the fight (only taunting when the maintank is at 3 stacks of voidbolt or has 4 stacks of purple and is low). This eases up tank healing and provides another cooldown (through 4pt13) without sacrificing too much DPS and hitting enrage.

Did you set up special DBM warning with the priority of the colors? I can see the timer on your UI :) Our guild tried this fight last night and got trucked! We were 3 healing it too, druid, pally, shaman. However, I think we might have been killing the wrong slimes. I read that if you ever got blue and black, to always kill blue. So, at certain times we ended up with green and red active, which then we would get one shot.. heh.
