Dont worry guys .. my 2 dogs go nuts at the tv all the time, they actually watch tv, its not just the sounds, they actually see movement on the screen and they react to different pictures, it does make me smile seeing them so engrossed! Go Marley and greetings from Ireland!! :)

My father-in-law was on the living room floor playing with our Boston Terrier, Clancy, last year and leaned his (bald) head down so that only the top of his head was visible. Clancy screamed and started backing up. Since then, anytime you tilt your head all the way down so that the top of it faces him, he freaks out, crying and backing up. It's bizarre. I think it started with a bald head and has transitioned to any head at this point.

tvs do emit high frequencies that humans cannot hear. humans are ables to hear sounds that varies from 20 hz to 20 khz ( i had to learn that for sound engineering major) anything higer than 20k will be hard or impossible to hear for humans but dogs will hear it.

My guess is that while the tv was paused, it emitted really high and Marley went in "I'll destroy your ass" mode.

Or that she doesn't like bald ppl.
