assuming you are correct, what makes you think a private server can do that? they would have to change the size (in bits) of the storage variable, which would mean, getting the source code for WoW, recoding a lot just for a small thing, and compiling it, which could take weeks for just 1 person who doesn't know what hes doing (hasn't worked with the source before), and all thats assuming he actually could get the source code for WoW......

Basically, this guy knows his economic stuff. He watches what items are most on demand, buys all of those items for a reasonable price, puts them on for a much higher price, people have no choice but to buy them for the listed price. The auction house was created to add another dynamic to game: having an economy. A GM won't whisper you and ban you for being smart enough to become rich off of it, even if all the other players hate you for it. If they tried hard enough or were smart about it they could be just as successful as him. Besides, if it weren't for people like him, there would be no real "economy'" It would be no different than buying from and selling things to a vendor.

That guy "Brons" was partially correct. Those aren't 'twink items' they are items, and anyone can get them. Twinks are a gay way to abuse the system, and blizzard never intended for that to happen. ( thank you blizz for the 3.2.0 patch). So normally, the items are for anyone. Yet I agree, the 80's are the one's that fuck up the market. Good for those go know how to profit from it.
