  • Isn't this song on Conan?

  • the jacare takedown... if he can get this off on lawler, I'll be impressed.

  • Jacare moves like a pure Judo black belt.

  • @pcjudosambo he is a judo black belt

  • Beautiful, picture perfect kuchiki taoshi and kosoto gake!

  • What's the name of this song?

  • @SakoYo I'm pretty sure it's the theme from 'Conan the Barbarian'

  • jacare has a wicked drop seio nage aswell.

  • great knee pick.

  • master in action

  • And if you have doubts just look the way Akiyama has thrown his opponents, most of them with a minimum of wrestling experience, just like nakamura threw all over randleman.

  • allot of those takedowns look like a kosoto-gari/ankle pick combination. As a judoka and part time bjj guy, I'll just say bjj guys need @ least two takedown techniques they can do really well. wrestling techniques don't usually translate well in a gi. Judo is much better for that.

  • Wreslting takedown do just fine with the gi...

  • they are not wrestling takedowns, they are judo throws, get at least some information before making any stupid claim.

  • I didn't say he wasn't using Judo throws in this video you fucking retard. I was commenting on some one you stupid fuck...

  • Bad ass! I'm having flashbacks of the movie that song's far, but can't pin point it. :-\

  • Conan maybe.

  • Judo + BJJ is a scary combination for any submission grappling tournament

  • Btw he's a black belt in judo

  • look at the submission comps bjj guys do well what are saying bjj no gi isone of the best around most MMA fighters cross train bjj look at GSP Gracie barra black belt! Anderson Silva!! MIR!! Nog!! Bj penn!!

  • knee/ankle pics all day...

  • wow if jac wants you on the ground, he will deffinatly get you there. period

  • he rly likes the ankle pick...

  • Conan?

  • cant wait till he smashed miller

  • he's got that takedown mastered thats for sure.he always uses that.nice.

  • WTF are you talking about?

  • "he wouldn't come far with this throws in an international tournament"

I think it is a given that elite competitors in any sport would not to well in international tournaments of other sports.

  • ok, but judo doesn't claim to finish every street fight. BJJ does... and there is a big difference beteen sport bjj and the original bjj.

besides that both judo and bjj do not help against multiple agressors and against weapons.

before u ask, i'm a judo black belt and bjj purple (3 stripes)

  • I am happy to report I don't disagree with anything you've said.

  • perhaps the throws in BJJ seem slower because the competitors must think about where they will end up at the end of the throw. I see many Judokas win with an Ippon after being turned over into what could have been their own mount and undoing -- due to the extreme force they use in thows.

  • i do not think so.

1.you just have to adjust the "judo-throws" to the fact that the fight continues after ippon. but real judo teaches that after the fall u still control the opponent.

2.the judokas train specific speed, bjj guys do not train that. not yet. but guys like viera and garcia show already fastness (because they are talented).

  • 3. if a throw is not fast, forget it. you might throw some beginners, but as the level rises, you won'tthrow anybody.

    4. one more thing: if you have time to thing during a fight, then only of tactic. if u thinkabout technique... then u should have trained much much more...

    peace

  • God judokas are annoying. You might as well note that a champion judoka will not go far in an international freestyle wrestling competition. Big deal.

  • bro, by saying this u showed once again that u have no clue, neither of martial sports nor martial arts. it is like comparing apples to pairs. wrestling and judo are 2 different kind of sports. like boxing and gymnastics.

isn't it interesting, that the ones who know don't say anything, and the ones who have no clue have to give some uninteligent comments? nevertheless, a good judoka would come much farer in a wrestling competition than a bjj champion would ever dream of. peace

  • No way dude. Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu translates better then Judo in Wrestling competition. Judokas don't have to train nor have to worry about 90% of Wrestling style takedowns, maining in freestyle. In Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu you are more savvy with other takedowns from other styles because its more free flowing with less restrictions and Wrestling is most commonly cross trained with Jiu-Jitsu. Ricky Lundell got his black belt and then joined Iowa State team with no Wrestling experience.

  • you are simply talking out of ignorance. First of all judo has always involved techniques grabbing the legs and they have names in japanese (kuchi taoshi, morote gari, kibisu gaeshi etc), and if you want to compete you will always have to train them. Now , if you think it is easy to take down a judoka with a wrestling technique, then enter a judo competition, you´ll be lucky if stand more than 2 minutes.

Btw. all of the tec jacare shows, he learnt in judo he is a judo BB too

  • no it´s not bullshit it´s your stupid reluctance too see the facts, just read about jacare in OTM and there would no doubt about jacare´s judo background.

as for your involvement in judo, that is the true bullshit, you claim you have trained with maurice allan and still think it is easy to tackle a judo. Come on dudette you must be his shame!!! Why don´t you tell those stories to your mommy and don´t make us waste our time

  • wrestling translates very well to jiu jitsu but it doesnt work so well the other way around.

  • You must be working with some seriously deficient judokas, because this statement is simply false. I have a background in all three disciplines (judo, wrestling, and bjj), and by far the easiest group to take down in competition have been the bjj guys. There is so much mixing of technique at any decent camp that you're sure to find some phenomenal jits takedown guys, but at the low to mid levels (purple and below), take down ability and defense of pure jiu jitsu guys is really lacking.

  • judokas dont worry about being taken down by wrestlers cos they will just choke the shitt out of them when there down there. wrestlers dont do subs therefore cant defend against them

  • deceball, that's not necessarilly true... jacare has been throwing opponents for a long time... karo parisyan too... gsp has even done some judo throws since joining the greg jackson camp

  • @ThPerfectBalance that exactly why. in judo if you throw you opponent cleanly enough you score ippon and dont need to worry about where youre going to land in BJJ positioning is key

  • @Soamsey If you are talking about a Judo tournament , I agree that he would not do as well with that throw. It works of brazilian gay jitsus because by being bent over they are off balance and very easily taken down. I have three other throws for brazilian gay jitsu practitioners that are clueless when it comes to momentun and body mechanics

  • Wow thanks for making this.. good idea.

  • e essa musiquinha do Conan ficou muito doida

    huahuahuahahauuhaaa

  • Jaca é o cara!!!!!
