Curious, even with eerily lifelike instrument replication these days, we still crave good old analog sounds. We can see here why. Of course, it all costs: Monomachine goes for about $1,500, and the Machinedrum starts at $1,400.
No, not the sound generation or processing being analog, I am talking about the sounds emulating analog synth patches, as opposed to trying to be a sampler of realistic instrument sounds. Sorry about the confusion. I am making a point that people crave these sounds enough to pay that much for the equipment.
