You know, for the longest time I avoided this film thinking it was going to be a run-of-the-mill, predictable "chick-flick". Wow was I wrong. I enjoy Diane Lane to begin with but this film is really beautiful and it's definitely one that I have and will continue to return to again and again.

@europa599 You are absolutely right in your heartfelt view. This movie transcends every expectation and draws you into its poignant look at the power of love and faith. Diane Lane and the rest of the cast deliver wonderful performances. I've seen UTTS several times and, oddly, every time I find myself really moved.
