  • u need more lights!!!

  • i think you deafin them girls dude...the key to having fun is just to have enough fun without damaging their fuckine ears...you dig?

  • @clipbrowser dude shut up this is a rly good setup so get me?? its a big room so good speakers are important.

  • Bro come on get some more lights! I have a friend I dj with and we 24 intelligent lights. Our truss is 10 feet tall and 18 wide. And take those lights off sound active! Put them in slave!

  • gard dam you got it easy to be a mobil disco in the us here in denamrk will that tinny set up never go ;)

  • great but i think your a little low on your lights

  • no bass

  • @SingJiya funny cause he's using an SRX sub.... last time I checked that pounds

  • The song name is Shooting Star (Remix;party Rock Mix) - David Ruch Feat. LMFAO & Kevin Rudolf & Pitbull :)

  • did the man @ 2:35 had something on his feet? xD

  • @markpvn1

and why is he moving his legg so much..

  • Can you tell me how much all the gear cost thanks..

  • Thumbs up if the guy scratching his foot for 20 minutes was pissing you off!!! lol

  • I hate how all djs play hip hop techno and old music played many times over and over. Play some cypress hill or tech nine/

  • Looks great.....and got everyone hopping.

What would you estimate the light system cost? Just an estimate. Are any of the lights LED? If not, do they heat up and you have to turn them off to let them cool down before running again? How long 'on' and how long 'off'.

    Thanks,

  • hey man whats the name of the song?

  • no laptop

  • what school was this?

  • the truss looks really low ? You should raise it a bit more.

  • @pstrand01 It is low in this video. That was when I was using an I-Beam truss. I didn't put it very high because it I-Beams get a bit top heavy.

I'm running ST132's right now, and I'll probably be stepping up to 16 or 18 foot lifts within the next two years. My setup has improved a lot since this video was put up.

  • @gotladdertrucks well do new video? we love to see the new equipment

  • dat guy has fungus on his feet he scratches to much lolz

  • what piece of equipment do you plug into each outlet? like lights on one outlet and audio on another???

  • @kcobra202 In this video, all of my amps are on one 20 amp circuit, and my lights and control rack are on a 15 amp circuit.

Now, I run the sub on one circuit, the top amp and control on another circuit, and lighting on another. On my bigger shows, I run six 20 amp circuits to subs, two 20 amp circuits to tops, two 20 amp circuits to lighting, one 20 amp to control and I have two spares ready to go just in case. I pull all of that from a 200 amp 3-Phase distro.

  • fuck det et nedern discotek!

  • as it is called the music?

  • what is the name of the song at 0.34?

nice setup realy good sub is that!

    Greetings

  • looks amazing still.. i kee[p watching this.. i love ur setup, any new vids soon. also wht type of speakers are running?

  • @RMSENTERTAINMENT Thanks! It's going on three years old, but it's great to hear that it's still impressive. In this video, I'm running JBL SRX and some Harbingers. To be honest, they work quite well for the price, and I can't complain.

I don't have any new videos ready right now, but I did get a new camera, so I can hopefully start making some videos again.

If you want to see some of my recent pictures, check out my Facebook Page.

    facebook . com /GForceDJs

  • How do you connect all of this to just one audio jack?

  • @TehRandoVideos It's not to just one Audio Jack. I have a pair of XLR's coming from the mixer to the DSP. The DSP is connected to the amps within the rack. Then out of the rack, I have three Speakon cables. One for each top and one for the sub. All I need is two sources of power and I'm ready.

  • im thinking about buying two of these

  • srx728--so whats the max wattage? did it fill the gym with bass? is it as loud as two seperate subs with half the wattage? if you still have it can you make vids of it?

  • looks good!!, you need more videos!!!!!!! love the setup!

  • some people if not all think that they are booking you for 4 hours when in fact they are booking you for up to 8+ hrs? theres the load up and travel ,set up ,disco ,pack up ,travel ,un load again

  • nice set up wat r does light called dat u hav on da very top of your trust stands?

  • @se7enchris Chauvet ColorStrips

  • you need better lights and a hazer to show them lights of better ..get them speakers of the ground and above the guests head so the people at the back can hear as well ,leave the bass bin where it is ...just trying to help ..

  • @bigun204 This is an older video, I haven't posted anything in a while, but I'm running an entirely new rig. I have some pictures up on my Facebook page and on my website.

  • what's the name of the song? nice setup men!! :)

  • not if they were hairy like chewbacca or king kong...kinda like my old principle GRGRGRGRGRGRR

  • middle school sucked giant titties

  • @notreallyfamous wouldn't that actually make it good?

  • i wish my middle skool dances were like that :\

  • but where is the dj at.. dont tell me its just a mix cd on it...

jajajajajajaja ... i like the led lights tho.. i wanna get for my sound system like around 16 of them..

  • perfect setup for these kids to get a little slow dance boner

  • @MrOogdaboogda Correct.

  • You should try to put your mid high speakers higher from the ground,so that the horn of the compression driver is around 20-30 cm above the heads of the people form the crowd.Like this you'll get more mid and high on a longer distance.

  • @soundseal It's already been covered. I'm putting them on platforms now.

  • buy an fane tt 1000 sub 2 x "18" speakrs 1600 watt :D that's a sub

  • @akilsholm There are much more efficient and hard hitting boxes out there. I'm actually replacing this sound rig with something three times as efficient and four times as loud.

  • @gotladdertrucks

And what might that be if I may ask. = ) Iv'e been looking towards buying the 728, would Fane be a better option?

  • @georgeallenher Equivalent EV PX, Danley, and EAW are just some of the cabs that are much more efficient.

  • Nc Sound system!!!:)

  • @DeejayNovus Thanks!

  • I really enjoyed how a guy was scratching his foot... nice

  • what amp u use?

  • @DjWurm1 PLX3602, XLS802D

  • @gotladdertrucks nice thankyou

  • i know the feeling of setup alone what do you haul it in mine (fitting with a shoe horn) is in a suburban just havent put the money into a trailer looks the same to you if you have to take down all the lights off your truss i have the same one there nice (untill you start losing the pins LOL ) Go BIG or Go Home Play It Loud Sounds

  • How Does That Sub Sound. Looks Like It Pounds ! Nice Set Up!

  • @Steven16440 It sounds pretty good. I would love a little more punch out of it, and it would be nice if it was a bit more efficient, but for what it costs, I'm not complaining.

    Thanks!

  • echo:D

  • Very Nice

  • Hii Hallo

Ich wohlte mal sagen das du ganz gute Sachen hasst und ich wolhte fragen wie Das Lied am Anfang Heist ??? aber gute Anlage klein aber fein ^^

  • what's the song?

  • what's the song?

  • That looks so much fun!

my eigth grade dance is coming up soooon!

    and im so excitedd.!

  • witch jbl sub is that andwhat kinda dual 15s u usin?

  • @gmangigson JBL SRX728 and Harbinger HX152.

  • Nice set up, don't worry about negative comments you are doing fine.

  • What kind of range do you get with those dual 15s? I don't have any, but I always thought they were supposed to be on a stage or something so it would spread sound evenly. Sweet setup though.

  • @thefamilyk

They hit the back of the room quite easily. I put them on my moving head cases and that puts the horns at about 8 feet.

  • u have to do it all alone? Lol

  • @spykerman97

I don't have to do it all alone. I have a team of three guys if I need help.

I built my system so I could set it up by myself if I need to. I can setup my entire rig (Design spots and everything) alone in about an hour.

  • nice clean setup. I have one suggestion, look into dura truss. there's no sagging in the middle and it looks a lot nicer/professional. otherwise, awsome job my man

  • Actually I got Global Truss about a week after I posted the video. Moving heads won't hang on the duratruss.

  • Not sure I understand why the slamming was necessary here. I am new and learning, but why so negative? Wow!

  • It's not negativity, it's proving a point. One guy may do it a completely different way then I do. Some are concerned with getting in and out as fast as possible. I would rather focus on providing the absolute best show for my clients. If that means a six hour setup and a three hour teardown (and I have done it), I will do it.

  • What brand tops?

  • Harbinger

  • @gotladdertrucks Look great! Nice and clean!

  • whats the song Cleafer :D !

  • Dont ever use PRACTICE AND ENJOY in your sentence again, its played out. All old fart dj use that as there ending sentence.

  • @SingJiya howbout we see you rig. You always see you have a great easy-setup rig. Well, where is it?

  • SingJiya is a ASS CLOWN point blank. Share or Educate vs Slamming. One time or another we had the Chauvet LTS-31 or the ADJ equivalent for trussing. You upgrade per your budget or if you see a profit for your investment. I own 2 of the EV KW bins & EV i25's for mains. Our sound is pretty equally matched. I feed 1 QSC 2502 bridged mono @ 4ohm per bin. I feed a QSC 1804 @ 4 ohm stereo to the mains approx 800 watts per main. I was curious as we are starting school functions again. Practice & Enjoy.

  • Why are you using spin and puke lighting? Listen you truss thing takes way to long to set up, all those wires and target plastic cases take to much time to drag in for a 2 hour dance. Start deleting alot of that stuff, with that crowd you dont even need subs, those kids never been to a night club so you can get away with 15" on the ground... Think smart, the more stuff you bring the more the expect next time.

  • With that gym you do. Again, quality before lazyness.

Spin and pukes are what I had, and still sometimes use.

    Let's see your rig.

  • @gotladdertrucks haha just takes no criticism at all do you? Nice defense, well.....well....lets see your rig!. Sound like a fricken little kid

  • In this video, how many QSC amps or what model QSC amp were you using? I'd say you were in the regular to large gymnasium category. In your opinion how would you rate the overall power of the sound towards the back of the room. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Practice & Enjoy...

  • QSC PLX3602

Truthfully, I hate it for sub use, but it pounds all the way to the back of the room.

  • Really nice start to your rig. Some others have touched on it, you need to add a second sub and set you tops on them, get them above the crowd...your lighting too... If you ever have a 5 minute set up your are doing something VERY wrong so don't listen to comment #1. Keep up the good work. DJ Kris

  • The second sub is on its way once I go ahead with my sound upgrade, which should be happening in the next few months. Right now, I set my tops on top of my moving head cases and it works really well. I get about 7 feet of height out of them.

  • To much junk, takes to long to set up. Think faster and lighter. You should be able to set up a system with subs and lights in less than 5 min.

  • Thinking faster and lighter isn't always better. I am set on pleasing the client, not working under a 5 minute time limit to make myself happy. You might have a T-bar, I have a truss. Your sub may not be as big as that SRX. Quality takes time. I have done a lot of things to that system since then, but I've made improvements in the way I work to keep my setups fast and simple.

  • @SingJiya HUH? Thats crazed. It takes me 5 minutes to plug the main power into the wall and tape it down so no one trips

  • Nice!!! Im really impress, how U setup the truss w/nobody helping U. Good Job!!

    btw. 5 stars!!

  • Thanks! I built that rig, as well as my current one, so it could be set up by one person if absolutely needed. I can set up 20 feet of Global Truss and 4 Design Spot 250's in about 20 minutes by myself. It's about 15 with a roadie.

  • whats the name on the jbl sub

  • I believe that it is a JBL SRX728S

  • U should have ur tops higher. high and mid should be over the ppls head. If not, i it will be poor sound quality at the ppl in the back:) same with the lights.

  • I looks great but you might wanna consider putting your lights higher its better higher than lower and same with your speakers.. put them up so you can hear the highs all round

  • cant wait till middle school! kinda scared how well i will do and who i will go to the dance with.

  • nice video i really like the setup

    -dj andrew

  • it is a nice sub

  • You put on a very nice show. Thanks for the vid! Keep em coming.

  • i llove how middle school dances are just bouncing up and down, ahah.

  • @b33happytasha its true im a middle schooler (and DJ) and while I dj the dances I often go out to the dance floor and dance while a wicked long song plays and man all we do is jump. Were just full of energy. Right before our end-of-year exam

  • @b33happytasha lol ya, I'm in a Middle School and they just bounce up and down because most of them don't know how to dance xD

  • its small but its realy cool set up you driving there

  • @akilsholm I was rocking a small rig then, but it's much bigger now.

  • @gotladdertrucks make a new video or a vid showing your stuff great vid by the way 5 stars

  • Nice clean set up, keep it up.

  • @absoluteeventservice Thank you!

  • hey

what do use til ligth control.

  • @akilsholm I use Martin LightJockey. In this video, I just ran sound active. For small rigs like this, I almost like it better than DMX.

  • nice setup and gear man!

  • @uptownxpress Thank You!

  • what song is this?

  • Shooting Star. I have the artist information in a previous comment.

  • thankss bro =D

    haha

  • LOL.... Whats up with the man who comes over and takes off his shoes and scratches his feet! (2:41)

  • Haha. I noticed that when I was rendering the video. He was the student council adviser.

  • i cant for my next school dance in 2 weeks there just like this one there so freaking fun!

  • hi i love your setup! What amp do you use to power your srx dual sub?

  • QSC PLX3602

  • what the name on the song

  • Read the previous comments. I've said it way to many times.

  • hey so make a new vidoes setup whit the moving heads

  • You will see some stuff go up soon.

  • nice set up but moving head in the front of your teble would be cool

  • I have moving heads now. Four Elation Design Spot 250 Pro's.

  • Tracklist plzz :D

  • Read the comments. I've said it many times.

  • dudee..!!! thats all nicee..

dont listen to all the other dudess

    but o well

do u have the name of the song

the first one broo where pitbull signs :D

    thankss :D

  • Shooting Star feat. LMFAO, Pitbull & Kevin Rudolf) [Party Rock Remix] - David Rush

  • Comment removed

  • your lights arent bright eoughfor a room of that size, you need a couple of gobo flowers (250watts) to light the dancers up more

  • Actually, they are. The camera doesn't pick it up. Also, it is a half gym, so I didn't need much throw. Also keep in mind that this dance was 9 months ago. I have gained a lot since then. The light rig was almost overkill for such a small group.

Post up your light rig. When yours is better than mine, I will take you seriously. Until then, gain some knowledge on lights. If you want to light up the dance floor, get a wash fixture, not an effect fixture. Gobo Flowers are not a good wash effect.

  • epic reply lol

i need to get some color strips myself

  • They are great lights, but Chauvet tech support leaves something to be desired. They tried to charge me for a manufacturing error.

  • fair enough, but keep your wig on. im new to this game so aint got much experience. wot other lights u got since then?

  • Then, I had two Chauvet Colorstrips, A Chauvet Elan, an American DJ Revo III, and two Martin SCX500 scanners all held together on a 10-foot I-Beam truss.

Now, I have four Chauvet Colorstrips, A Chauvet Elan, an American DJ Revo III, two Martin SCX500 scanners (selling), a Martin Atomic 3000 strobe, and four Elation Design Spot 250 moving heads (once I can get a chance to pick up the order). It is all hung on 20 feet of Global F34 Box truss. I control everything with Martin LightJockey 2.

  • I agree, you really need wash lights for lighting to be effective. There should always be a nice balance between the wash and the effects lights.

I personally have a very small set up so far with a Chauvet LEDsplash 152B (the wash light), 2 Chauvet Initmidator 1.0's (the beam effects), and a cheap chinese RGY laser that really does quite well (a different type of beam effect).

I obviously don't have the best rig out there, but I'd say it's pretty balanced for a "value" rig.

  • Get anoher sub and mount it there?

  • There are a few reasons I am not going that route.

-Two SRX728s subs would be complete overkill for a lot of the gigs I do.

-I would need another 20 amp circuit to run a second sub.

-Have you ever even heard of the JBL SRX line? The sub is a $1500 cab alone. Then you must include an amp to run it. An crown I-Tech 4000 runs about 2-2.5 grand.

  • Why did you not set the tops up higher and dont send the trebble out in the hips?

  • Have you not read the other comments?

It is almost impossible to raise those cabs high enough. They cannot be pole mounted.

  • u dont have any laddertrucks? lol jk

  • That sub is so fucking badass!!! :D

  • great i liked the sound track you had wen you was setting your gear up nice but looks heavy lol for mee

  • great setup, only problem i would have is that the high frequency drivers are in the wrong place,

see if someone walks in front of your main speakers

    a) they get over 100 db's down their lugholes,

    b) it blocks them from other people hearing

    but no goog setup (Y)

  • Most people don't stand in front of them anyway. I have no way to raise them at this point. I am looking at pole mounted top cabs or maybe some SRX dual 15's on top of another 728.

  • yh... when i do gigs im usually on stage so i got the booth set up 4 me n the speakers are on poles tilted 10 degrees towards the ground, prevents echo off of the back walls

i see yours are larger so yh i see why lol :P

    yyeah that would be cool,

i dunno why someone voted my comment down, its a known fact what i wrote is true....

some people really need 2 know what their talking about before-hand lol

also im likin the subs, nice powerful bass, brings energy to the music in that setup

  • good idea, nice rig btw

  • shut up

  • make me....

    id like to see that...

    really

  • with dual 15"s and the standard 1" compression on them you usualy dont need to raise them because (atleast a medium range to highend system) will be designed to project the higher frequincy at a 45degree upward angle. with a 2 way or a 15" and a 1" they are ment to be flown on a tripod or array so the compresion driver is mounted parallel to the 15" or other size driver. But you are right people right in front will get a decent blast of sound!

  • wow, i didnt know that, well ya learn something new everyday ey :P

still lovin that sub, must be a bit of a beast haha

  • Whats the name of that truss?

  • It's the cheap $99 truss from zzounds. I don't trust it. It is not very stable and relies on friction to hold it up.

I upgraded to global truss recently. about $1500 was put into that. You get what you pay for. Don't buy cheap truss.

  • I agree

  • Hey thnaks

  • PLease send Name of song on 03:50 name song please.

  • nice setup but would of gone with crown amp

  • nICE SEUP! COOL VID

  • Not right away, but I would eventually get a pair. I would like to be able to handle events of up to 300 people and I would prefer to have only two speakers. How much do the KV2 speakers run for?

  • A couple grand per cabinet, but they are really clear and can get really loud. For weddings, you will just need tops. Schools will need a sub for some more bass.

  • Is KX Audio the same as KV2 because I saw some speakers from them that looked really nice and I might consider investing in those.

  • Same parent company.

  • Thanks man you have been really helpful. I think I'm going to try the JBL SRX715 and pair that with a Cerwin-Vega CV2800 and for now just use one JBL SRX718S with another CV2800.

  • Haha the SRX is quite a bit better. Your set-up will be awesome man.
