Hello, I just found your video! I have always wondered how to make coconut milk thicker to a creamy, gel like, or buttery consistency to apply on the hair. I notice your comment on the video said you add Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum. I've seen those ingredients on food packaging.... in using it on the hair are there any adverse effects?
@jenp27 hi, no probs for the hair they are both just natural thickeners...and are used in very, very tiny amounts like a pinch at a time...otherwise your mix will become too thick
my hair are getting thinner and thinner on the top and middle of my head, the concentration i.e Hairs per square inch is diminishing at a rapid rate, while at the sides of my head hair growth remains strong.
My brother and father both have very thick luscious hairs
Hi, this recipe is really for people who are growing out a relaxer but if you check out the hair growth oil video I have done, that may be more appropriate for your hair's needs, but each of our hair responds differently to different products...also if it is not hereditary for thinning hair it may be worth a visit to your GP as this is young for thinning of hair...good luck
i would like to thankyou for all of your wonderfull imput you have put into producing your videos they have truely been a big i recently did the big chop back in july 2008 my hair has grown back just a little but my only problem is the temples and nape area is still thin could you sugsest product or home made recipe to try and help my temple and nape area grow back. thanking you in advance,
Hi BBDB! ur welcome :) Congrats for your Big Chop...I hear a lot of ladies getting good results from Castor Oil for the thinning areas...enjoy ur journey!
hey sister what products are you using? i have a lot of problem about my hair, its damaged, and now im hopeless. do you have a special recommandation for me? that will be helpfull thank you.
How often do u use this pre poo treatment weekly, bi-weekly or every 6 weeks? I have all natural hair with a tight curl pattern and I live in Canada where we have hot summers and cold winter so does this treatment usage change depending on the season? I enjoyed ur tutorial by the way!
Hi, I don't use this one anymore, I prefer the Coconut Milk/Cream/Oil or Caramel Treatment...my hair lurvves fatty products...no idea about the seasons hun, I havn't got a grip on how they and products affect my own hair as yet, tis all about claiming ur hair and experimentation!
How often do u use this pre poo treatment weekly, bi-weekly or every 6 weeks because it's protein? My hair is all natural with a really tight curl pattern how often would you recommend I use this? Also I should mention I live in Canada where we have winter and summer so does this treatment usage change depending on the season?
How can you preserve this conditoner for later use if I didn't want to keep making a fresh batch ? Can this be preserved in the refrigerator for later use?
Hi, I would love to have the coco caramel treatment mixture. Do I need to go to your website and sign up to get it? Thanks!
