  • LMFAO WOW THS IS AWEOSME!!

  • One thing that we like is BBQ Seitan and mashed potatoes ---we use your recipe for Seitan.

  • Excellent recipe. Love the heavy metal theme.

  • THAT TOTALLY WASN'T SATAN.

  • TOFU is like a dildo its a meat substitute :)

    im vegetarian btw

  • is the yeast optional? i cannot find nutritional yeast ANYWHERE

  • @WalkWithMeInHelll

Any luck with this yet? Whole Foods, bulk section or any of the higher end grocery stores. Ask for it.

  • Vegans ROCK. I'm so glad I'm vegan.

  • Yeah. This is the most evil of all dishes, especially to celiacs! ;)

  • WHERE do you find nutritional yeast/wheat gluten?

  • @TinyVessels00 any grocery store will have vital wheat glutten. Some may have nutritional yeast, but I have better luck finding it at the organic food stores.

  • Brainsssss!!

  • This music is Fucking awesome!

  • vegan blacck metal chef is better imo

  • Have you ever made Seitan taste like bacon? Very entertaining!

  • i told you not to do that. it freaks out my mom! HAHAHA awesome

  • People that hate on vegans are seriously brainless, and have nothing better to do. Fuck em. they look way stupider than us poisoning their bodies and giving a shit what we eat. If they want me to eat meat so bad, i'd way rather take a bite out of them than a poor animal.

  • @crayzeemodel GO ZOMBIES!! HELL YEAH!

  • @crayzeemodel GO ZOMBIES!! HELL YEAH!

  • this show is pretty sweet :)

  • satan don't like garlic

  • I basically hit subscribe the millisecond after reading HEAVY METAL VEGAN fucking hilarious stuff

  • At Trader Joes that sell this pre-marinated steak and chicken seitan. Smells like pizza when you cook it ^_^

  • humans are omnivores. tis why we have teh pointy teeth. im an herbivore though because unlike cavemen times where they didnt really have a choice nor did they give a shit , we do have a choice and we can take supplements for what we dont get enough of in just veggies. ^.^

  • @gigi31898 thats silly. A. our 'canines' are not strong enough to take down prey, and apes have sharper teeth than use, and they are herbivores. B. we are not cavemen. we are fat, lazy, and sick. we are evolved, and animal agriculture is unnatural and killing this planet. C. why take supplements when we're meant to eat the plant foods? The complexity is kale or blueberries far surpasses a pill. Meat is shit, what you want is salt and fat, and eating more plants is the responsible thing to do

  • @gigi31898 CONTINUED.....carnivore jaws move up and down, herbivore and human jaws grind back and forth. Our hydrochloric acid has more trouble digesting meat than it does plant foods, which continue FAR more essential nutrients than meat. In fact, you can gain ALL your nutrition from plant foods, and carnivores would die without meat. we are not WILD animals, we have things handed to us. we have to be responsible and make the right decisions, instead of succumbing to WANT and selfishness.

  • @gigi31898 and one more thing (last thing, unless you wish to counter one of my statements), humans have such a powerful adaption system, we see our abilities do be ABLE to do something, as something we have to do. can CAN digest milk, but milk is unnatural and 80% of the planet is lactose intolerant, because duh, no lactase enzyme. When a vegetarian spends years without eating meat, then eats it again, the majority tend to get sick. we stop producing that enzyme. humans WANT meat, not need it.

  • @BiohazardBunney lol otay ^_^

  • herbivores are HARDCORE!!!

  • Saw Angel of Death live years ago, it was epic

  • Eat animals, be human.

  • @sub7design humans are herbivores.

  • @SemiAquaticRhino I'm sure the millions of years of nomadic humans and their ancestors were following herds of plants.

  • @sub7design If you look at all the characteristics of a human, we don't have much at all in common with carnivores, but quite a bit in common with herbivores.

    1. Herbivores have mostly round jaws and flat teeth for grinding plants. Carnivores mostly have pointed jaws and sharp teeth for chewing meat and biting into their prey.

    2. Herbivores have very long digestive tracts (about 10-12 times their size) so they can absorb all the nutrients from plants. Carnivores have very...

  • @sub7design short digestive tracts (about 3 times their size) so that meat can pass through their body quickly.

    3. Carnivores have enzymes so that meat (if or when they eat it raw) won't harm their body. Herbivores don't have these enzymes. That's why we have to cook our food. If we were to eat it raw, we would get sick.

    4. Carnivores haves paws. Herbivores don't; they have either hands, or hooves.

There are many more examples but I don't want to write too much.

  • @SemiAquaticRhino humans dont have hands? O_o A. humans dont have claws, or fangs strong enough to take down prey, nor do they have flat molars for grinding vegetation. B. Carnivores have acidic saliva with no ptyalin. Humans have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains. When avoiding meat for long periods of time, we stop producing the meat digesting enzyme, with no harm to the body. The reason we produce it is most likely adaption, same with digesting milk past weaning age. continue?

  • Comment removed

  • @BiohazardBunney i understand, but i don't understand what you're inferring or what point you're making. humans do have flat molars for grinding vegetation. i recognize the other two points (our lack of fangs and claws and our alkaline saliva), but i don't understand whether you're saying that humans are more so herbivores than carnivores/omnivores.

  • @SemiAquaticRhino Our bodies resemble more herbivorous animals than carnivorous, so much so that it would be more logical to assume we are in fact herbivores with an adaption to eating meat. Our relation to apes, who are herbivores, show some indication of this. There is a very good page online that describes how humans are more so herbivore, quite interesting celestialhealing . net / physicalveg3 . htm carnivores would DIE without meat.

  • @BiohazardBunney and i thank you for your reassurance that there are people with enough common sense to do some research. when i read your first comment to me, i wasn't sure whether you were agreeing with me or not. also, why do you say that humans don't have flat molars for grinding vegetation?

  • @SemiAquaticRhino oh I didnt because it seemed pretty obvious lol ^__^ I just try to use facts that others dont already see--my favorite anti-veg comment is the one about our 'fangs'. it's like, lol, yeah try taking down a cow with those O_o Personally I have an idea that the reason we have them could be similar to our relative apes who use them for aggression and fighting, but dont hunt animals. ours are shorter because we dont fight with out teeth. But thats just my opinion.......its crazy lol

But thats just my opinion

  • @BiohazardBunney yeah i know what you mean. they ignore all the other evidence and use what proves their point (but it doesn't really). i've seen that teeth one all over the place and it's so annoying. i mean, yeah, we have four canine teeth (i would assume from evolution from eating meat, but i'm not an expert or anything), but what about all our other flat teeth?

  • @SemiAquaticRhino some human skulls have very long fangs, others have very short. I mean, our skeletons arent even done evolving yet, we still grow wisdom teeth. We, as humans, have extremely strong abilities to adapt over time--we can even drink cow milk past weaning age, some of us large amounts our whole lives without suffering from lactose intolerance. Anyone knows its not natural to drink milk, but we CAN. evolution is about progress, about changing what we DID and living for the better

  • @sub7design Omnivores FTW

  • @SemiAquaticRhino The fact that we share some traits with herbivores does not make us herbivores.

  • @sub7design No it doesn't, but we're much closer to herbivores than we are to carnivores.

  • @sub7design The fact that our ancestors ate meat, plants, and fruits does not prove that we are omnivores.

We have much more in common with herbivores than with carnivores.

  • @sub7design I think you mean "eat animals, be manly" which is what most of you believe. and be fat, and blame your thyroid, and swallow medications to lower cholesterol and believe whatever the industries tell you. We have the ability and resources to not eat meat, and we do fine. No reason to keep killing 10 billion animals every year, which we cant even watch or take part in, and kill the planet, to cling to what we did BEFORE. we can change.

  • @BiohazardBunney I used to get most of my protein from grains and legumes and some dairy. I was fat, out of shape - despite regular exercise - and had awful bloodwork and blood pressure. After dropping my grain intake to 25% of what it was and almost entirely ditching legumes and increasing my animal meat intake to 1-3lbs a day along with lots of fruits and veggies I lost 20lbs in 2 months, improved my bloodwork and blood pressure. Now, I get asked if I'm an athlete by strangers on a daily basis

  • @sub7design Flexing your epeen much? first of all, being vegan isnt about being 'thin', thats just a perk. Me personally I had the opposite story, I stopped meat, dairy and eggs, and ate a steady diet of fruits, vegetables, grains and beans. Did you not eat fruits and vegetables? they are the ones with the nutrient dense, low calorie features that trigger your metabolism into slimming down. but you proved my point trying to seem manly over the internet >_>

  • @BiohazardBunney What the hell is epeen? I'm not TRYING to be manly over the internet. I am manly. I am a man and I like that fact.

  • whats with the damn soy sause? :P

Like, i really want to sub vinegar for that, since soy sause is far from mediterranian. what's the reason for it? is it okay to sub it out?

3:31 as someone else has said is Tyrants by Immortal. Sons of Northern Darkness again being another great album. The song at 5:42 is "DOA" by The Haunted.

  • hmm, Im kind of vegan, and I like metal music (black, death, thrash..) So Ive been happy when I saw this video, as I love seitan too. But... this is the strangest method how to make seitan what I ever saw. :) Im doing it totally different.. /,,/

  • i lacks the power of satan.

  • @kenny222 Hahaha wrong

  • Why do all these metal chef shows do vegan food? Nobody likes vegan food, even vegans! Actually, nobody likes vegans. Every animal would eat you given the chance. Assert your dominacne atop the food chain!!!

  • @kenny222 Hello, as a meat eater, I enjoy vegan food. One day, when you're living on your own, you'll see how expensive meat is, first of all. We also eat waaaaay too much meat in the typical western diet.

How about have balls enough to try something different for once in your diet? Or you too much of a little puss to do that?

  • @MyassWins Well as someone who moved out their parents house the best part of a decade ago I'm currently very aware of what meat costs and tbh it's not that expensive if you're content to take the 'less premium' cuts and work a bit of magic on them. And tbh I prefer buying fish.

  • @kenny222 When you're out on your own you'll see.

  • @kenny222 Cows are herbivores you retard.

  • HEAVY METAL AND VEGAN DO NOT MIX! GTFO!

  • Not enough SATAN

  • the black metal chef is better

  • FUCK YOU VEGAN FAGGOTS

  • Whoaa whoa whoa, what is this "Aryan race" stuff in the first song? I mean, I'll still watch your badass cooking videos... as long as you're not a vegan *and* secretly a member of Aryan Nation.

  • @atthehop The song is Angel of Death by Slayer, a song about the atrocities(?) of Josef Mengele and the third reich. Bad things that have happened must not be forgotten.

  • just remember kids, just because it's vegan doesn't make it good for you!

    seitan is, in fact, evil.

  • oh dear...marry me! or no, don't marry me, just cook for me! plssssss O.O << puppy eyes

  • ...What? I didn't call this dude...I don't even know him. And i'm not some red shirted, Danny DeVito voiced douche. C'mon, you can even see that those horns are fake man...What. The. HELL.

  • Could you make a list of the songs that you used?

    btw what's that testament song?

  • WOAH! BITBURGER! That beer rocks!

  • I was really digging this until the retarded segment with "Satan" and the absinthe...really? Just stick to fucking cooking and metal! Acting isn't your strong suit.

  • Meat is to awesome. Sorry, but I love being a carnivore.

  • @AverageNoob1 Uhhhhh, you're not a carnivore. You are an omnivore.

  • Turn on caption's its hilarious

  • Fuck vegan, meat is metal!

  • @Grymyrk

    no.

  • @Grymyrk than y did u click this if u knew it would be VEGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheTomahawkTossers Came from facebook.

  • @Grymyrk it still says the name just 2 let u know

  • @Grymyrk So Cattle Decapitation, The Agonist, Deadlock, Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy, Rob Zombie, Sepultura, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, Cult of Luna, Brutal Truth, Rage Against the Machine, Queensryche, Heavenshallburn, Carcass, Between the Buried and Me, and Gaahl of Gorgoroth aren't metal because they don't eat meat then?

  • @DissectedMushroom Oh shit, does that mean I'm not metal because I don't burn down Churches? Oh shit. BRB.

  • @Grymyrk What the hell? My comment didn't mention anything about churches. But obviously you're 13 and have no real rationality or logical thoughts to speak of.

  • @DissectedMushroom You totally missed my point. I never said you can't be Vegan and metal. My last comment was implying that you don't have to live up to all the hype to be part of it. Meat is metal, vegan is not. However being Vegan doesn't make someone any less metal. Although.... Liking System of a Down does make you a huge homo.

  • @Grymyrk I missed your point because you didn't have one. Nothing makes meat metal but your warped sensibilities. And that last sentence just shows how immature you are and how vacuous of a point you're making.

  • @DissectedMushroom Meat is metal, there is no denying it. It is the food of choice by most Mettlers. Not just as food though. Underwear too. Google image search: skuldom meat bra

  • @Grymyrk That is absurd. Meat is the food of choice of most people in general, there's nothing intrinsically metal about it. And I recall Lady Gaga having a full outfit made of meat. I guess that was reeally metal.

  • @DissectedMushroom It just means meat is an intrinsic part of metal culture. It doesn't make you metal if you eat meat. It doesn't make one less metal if you don't (however it does make you less human). If you can't understand that you're a moron. The underwear thing was just a joke. Stop being so up tight.

  • @Grymyrk It is definitely not an intrinsic part of metal culture. There is no reason why it would be. Metal does not have a diet. And it makes you less human? Your moron comment is ironic.

  • @DissectedMushroom Humans are omnivores. A protein rich diet is part of human evolution. Something being part of a culture does not make it a requirement of that culture. I'm not saying you have to eat meat to be metal. I'm not saying it's a major part of the culture. Next I bet you'll say that beer is not part of the culture either. I don't even drink but I'm not going to go out and say that there's no connection just because I don't partake.

  • @Grymyrk By that logic every animal in a zoo is less of their species for not behaving like others. Is a tiger not a tiger because it can't hunt? No. And meat is not a part of metal culture in any way, regardless of how many times you claim it is. Do tell me how either of those are a part of the culture any more than anything else most people ingest? I'm sure a lot of people also use toothpaste that listen to metal, but that doesn't make it a part of that culture.

  • @DissectedMushroom "Is a tiger not a tiger because it can't hunt?" Eventually yes, it will probably die because it can't compete. I remember those metal parties of the good old days, we were all standing around the BBQ, listening to Metal, brushing our teeth. Those were good times... good times.

  • @Grymyrk I was referring to tigers in captivity. lol. But even if it died that wouldn't make it less of a tiger. And I don't ever recall anyone having metal bbqs anymore than I recall them having metal teeth brushing, so that's a reasonable comparison for me. Also who actually has 'metal' parties?

  • @DissectedMushroom We do (meaning my friends and I). You must remember we live in completely different parts of the world. What is normal for me might not be normal for you. That's what we do together, eat meat, drink beer and listen to metal. We are bogans although I despise the term, it's all part of our culture.

  • @Grymyrk Fair enough. It may be a huge part of what you and your friends do, or even the culture where you're from. I won't assume, I don't even know what a bogan is. But at least here it definitely isn't the case, and I haven't heard of it being the case anywhere else, that the entire metal culture has embraced that as an aspect of it. I know personally, it was even a metal band that inspired me to become vegan. I've never seen a side that directly promoted eating meat.

  • @DissectedMushroom What band was that?

  • @Grymyrk The Agonist back when they were touring with Sonata Arctica in 2007.

  • not for gluten sensitive enteropathy (celiac disease) so care.

  • FUCKIN' (vegan) SLAYER!!!!

  • song at 2:40 ?

  • @planetofzeus Testament - Careful What You Wish For, off of the album The Gathering. Bay Area Thrash \m/!!!

  • Wow! Tres cool!

  • oh hell yah! I'm a devil worshiper and I friggin love Seitan. Yes make it !! MAKE IT!! MAKE IT!!! OH GAAAAAAWDD I'm soooo closee.. yes yes yes ahhhhhhhhhhhh weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

  • I am excited to make this!

  • these videos are just way too bad ass!!! :)

  • What song is playing when you start mixing the stuff in the second bowl?

    1:17

  • @menchiiscute1 Angel Of Death by SLAYER!!!!!

  • Of course it's a good one, I'm fucking Satan! hahah =] lol

  • That's some good seitan, dude! Actually better than the stuff I produce on a regular basis! Keep on seitaning!

  • lame

  • Will you marry me?? Brilliant video!!!

  • LOL too funny. Although I tried the recipe and it came out perfect, thank you!

  • LOL, way to jazz it up.

  • this is so hard core. keep on rockin man

  • I love the filthy stove! This is the best cooking show ever!

  • this is so fuckin awesome lol

  • Contributing to CO2 levels is not bad in itself. It's excessive CO2 levels that's the problem. Besides, the meat industry produces more Green house gases than all modes of transportation combined.

  • If it takes 1 hour to cook, then that could be contributing to CO2 levels on its own.

  • lol cradle of filth

  • i fucking love this. marry me?
