It seems im the only one who sort of like this games! Crazy expensive, but.. The 8-bit renditions of all the songs totally makes up for it. Takes a time getting used to the concept I guess, but I really had fun playing this!

I don't get why people hate this game THAT much. I mean, it plays like Gauntlet with puzzle elements, it's got 8-bit Muppets and chiptune Bowie, you've got little buddy characters. If only it weren't so HORRIBLY UNFORGIVING with one life, no continues, and some enemies that tend to bombard you and take off giant chunks of time... it would be a perfectly adequate game with a Game Genie.

This game is crazy difficult! You have to find a key in each area to enter the castle. By the way, do you remember the three friend's name? They look like a squirrel (small orange one), a gorrilla (big black one), and a man in purple trousers. The man never fights, but shows the way. The other two fight with the girl.

Dunno if you've ever played the little known Commodore 64 version (by Lucasarts!) but after a look at this drivel you probably should. It's not great by any means but it's a very interesting prototype of what became the standard Lucasarts' affair (Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, etc). The opening has a good rendition of "Underground" too (if I remember right!).

Labyrinth (as in the movie) definitely deserved better.

Oh my God, I loved the pictures at the end! "OMG I'm lost" and then the pic of John Locke, that was great. The "key" was funny too. Yeah, I didn't see anything resembling a life bar anywhere, so you probably could just take hits forever, who knows. I was gonna say the sprite for Jennifer Connelly looked more like Link in drag, but maybe that's pushing it. I guess David Bowie likes it though. Okay, that didn't make a lick of sense. What is it with me and long comments?
