It's Armin who wrote the melody and stuff..... it's Benno who helped creating the sound Armin wants...........

For example, Communication Part I or Part II, though a very good song, 100% created by Armin, to me, it lacks something.... the "wow" factor...

Benno comes in, and help creates the sound Armin wanted.... Think this Gaia tune, and Mirage.... just amazing sounds!!! Banging kick ass trance...

does anyone know the main reason for any big artist to assume 50 different aliases? is it a form of 'artist'-proliferation? not sure if that would work to benefit as with a lot of music its all about one big name for anything to catch mass appeal.. then again with electronic music i guess one name wouldnt be as significant as people in the know (ie dj's) sort through it anyway....

Well artists also tend to have various creative tendencies and want to experiment with a certain sound. Gaia is probably an alias under which Armin creates a specific kind of energy and track, separate from his usual handle. If you listen to his releases under this label, you'll get an idea of what I mean.

If you produce under one name all the time, you have to pigeon hole yourself to a certain kind of sound or fans complain like no other.
