I was searching for something like this as I'm a programmer who works way too much and my hands are starting to hurt :|

It would be nice to maintain productivity while reducing keyboard load.

I think a lot of people are looking at this the wrong way- it should not become a replacement for the keyboard, but a tool to work alongside it.

I expect there are keyboard shortcuts for this sort of thing, but I particularly like the idea of using commands like 'embed try-catch'. I think that used properly this could be an absolutely fantastic tool

This is fantastic! I use speech recognition and am trying to use VS with it--it doesn't really work at all.

if the speech recognition where MUCH better then big maybe but not likely.

For me, no way in hell when it comes to programming.

Creating a program with many 100 000 of lines of code using speech commands,

i'm not seeing that happening anytime soon.

btw using speech recognition for a long period of time will affect your language skills in a bad way

Interesting idea, I'm not sure that I (or any commercial body) would buy this as it doesn't seem very practical, but at the same time it would be a great way to jot down some code snippets.

Anyway, I believe it is bad for constant practical usage. Too slow in comparison with keyboard. Especially, when you know hot-keys.
