don't listen to the haters kid. but go out and actually ride, tricks are cool but the best part about fixed gear riding is the connection you build with your bike through day to day rides. as far as your skid stop that is the easiest way to do it. try skid stopping standing upright without leaning forward. eventually you'll be able to skid stop while sitting. don't be afraid to crash. i have 8 stitches in my head currently and a bent up frame. waiting on my new leader and i'll be back out there.
