Lebanon is beautiful it just needs its people to take care of it. People here in the US are investing money in research and inventions but people in Lebanon are looking at ways to escalate their political differences leading to conflicts with its beautiful people.

Hi people...I am a Lebanese women living in Australia..My Mother and Father come from a little village about 10km out of Baalbeck..A beautiful village called Deir El Ahmar!!!! I really miss it...I will go back to my roots oneday....2000 was the last time I visited...Ya Habibi ya Liban!!!! Peace in the Middle-East!!!

You are so lucky to be from Deir El Ahmar. I didn't visit it but I hear a lot about it and I have friends from this village. The singer Elissa is from Deir El Ahmar.

Elissa is a good friend of my Brother in-law..He says that she is a beautiful spirited person. In real life.. To be honest , I have'nt heard much of her music.. So I will check her out... Cheers!!

Elissa has won last year the world music award for the best Arabic singer. She is very famous, and she won the best selling album title in the last 2-3 years in the arab world.
