I commented on this clip before and I will again, people call street racing drag racing. it's not. Drag racing is done on the drag strip. Street racing is an injury or death waiting to happen. injurys and deaths happen at the strip too but usually way less. They listen to very loud Techno , Metal , or Hip - Hop while doing this .It is common that they live in their parent ' s house and throw parties in their garage ( or basement ) involving crap beer .
The office called it "Drag Racing". Drag racing goes on at a DRAG STRIP, not the street. This was a street race and many are fatal. I drag race, I do it at the drag strip and I encourage people to race there, where it's controled and it's much less likely for people to get hurt or die. Those damn fast and furious movies didn't help matters. They glorified Street Racing and called it Drag Racing. Now every idiot with a civic thinks they've got a 10 second car. They wrecked the only good car.
At a drag strip the race is controlled it's not like the car is going to go off that track and flip into the crowd and kill a bunch of people like it does in street racing

Yo fergo. I drive a Honda Civic with a full racing exhaust including a muffler that has a (huge)4inch outlet. It is a 4 cylinder, and the exhaust does increase horsepower/torque but not very much. I drive this vehicle on the streets as it is street legal. I am not a "dipshit". My car is "loud" but that's a sacrifice I have to make for my love of motorsports and its necessary in the automotive racing world... However, I am NOT a street racer. Putting innocent lives in danger is not my idea of fun

Two racers who are underage (both are 16) ran a red light and t-bone me when they were illegally racing. A red light camera caught the whole thing and a off duty police officer witness the accident. My car got totaled assholes parents let their insurance lapse and when I sue their parents for damages to my car and personal injury and won, month later both of their families filed for chapter 7 and told me that they are not paying a dime.

The office called it "Drag Racing". Drag racing goes on at a DRAG STRIP, not the street. This was a street race and many are fatal. I drag race, I do it at the drag strip and I encourage people to race there, where it's controled and it's much less likely for people to get hurt or die. Those damn fast and furious movies didn't help matters. They glorified Street Racing and called it Drag Racing. Now every idiot with a civic thinks they've got a 10 second car. They wrecked the only good car.

Yo fergo. I drive a Honda Civic with a full racing exhaust including a muffler that has a (huge)4inch outlet. It is a 4 cylinder, and the exhaust does increase horsepower/torque but not very much. I drive this vehicle on the streets as it is street legal. I am not a "dipshit". My car is "loud" but that's a sacrifice I have to make for my love of motorsports and its necessary in the automotive racing world... However, I am NOT a street racer. Putting innocent lives in danger is not my idea of fun

RIP to those who passed. I know I can't stop drag racing and may even participate to it at times just remember to either take it to a track or block off a back road thats hardly ever used and dont tell ppl about it. If you wanna hurt yourself go for it but keep others out of it.

Two racers who are underage (both are 16) ran a red light and t-bone me when they were illegally racing. A red light camera caught the whole thing and a off duty police officer witness the accident. My car got totaled assholes parents let their insurance lapse and when I sue their parents for damages to my car and personal injury and won, month later both of their families filed for chapter 7 and told me that they are not paying a dime.

@dkrcrewmember ttry to keep a top fuel car doing about 3 hundered in a quarter you from doing that.you only have like 4 seconds in the whole run your wheel moves an a centimeter off and it will do that compared to the dumb ricers who one go a little over a hundered in a quater and still crash going insanely slow point not proven
