@stillmomentsnursery I have an Ashton-Drake Interactive Doll "Nina" now on sale with Ashton-Drake and renamed Meg. She giggle, sucks a pacifier, moves her head and open and closes her eyes. I do not know how to make dolls, I am looking for someone who can add features to her. Such as have her say a few words, maybe make her arms move, and possibly make her eyes wider. I ordered a reborn from nearly_newborn_nurseries, an artist on ebay, and she has light brown hair, newborn gray eyes, but will not have any pimples, milk spots, freckles, or scratches. I named her Leah Rose, I hope she gets here soon

i'm a bit confused.... are you able to send pictures of your newborn baby and have them made into a reborn baby doll?

@andiiLynn - If a look alike doll is wanted, I take the images uploaded and find a doll kit that has similar features to the baby in the image....the doll is then painted to look like the baby images.

Reborn babies are beautiful!! It's like having a baby forever :)

I was thinking that reborns would be great in nursing homes and hospitals for patients to hold and cuddle. I have a few of them and let me tell you, they bring out the warmest feelings of nurture. Basically, I think they would be a great tool for those who are lonely and best of all, they don't need care! <3

@ajandlady - I have had a few of my earlier babies go to nursing homes to be cared for by all the residents....their faces just light up when they see the doll / baby.

I dont really put my completed dolls on ebay but I do every now and then so you might have seen me at some point.

Yes I do offer custom doll ordering and have forms for the different sized doll, look alikes, toddlers, childs and fairies.

I don't think this is creepy. I think it's pretty cool. We all have our own hobbies, and each one is different. Just because you don't understand this stuff, it doesn't mean it should be stopped. I mean, how would you feel if someone told you to stop doing whatever hobby you enjoy just because they didn't like it? I'm pretty sure you would stand up for yourself and say this is your right and nobody's business, wouldn't you? It isn't your business how the rest of us spend our free time, either.
