Thank you so much for your insight. I truly have always doubted the bible and questioned the existance of Jesus. I have always prayed directly to God because it felt like the right thing to do, but out of habit end my prayers "In Jesus name, Amen." I guess I was taught that. In any event, after watching this I got out my bible (NKJV) and said a prayer for the Lord to direct me to the most important part of the bible that I should regard as truth. I Opened directly to Isaiah 42. Wow!

@kellinicole1000, There is not just one book. You could spend hundreds on various editions of Greek New Testament, grammar books, commentaries on the texts, word studies, and lexicons. So, I suggest you get a KJV Bible and a copy of Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, making sure that it to is keyed to the KJV.
May i ask what is the exact book of original texts that you use and where can i get it? Because you say the modern ones are paraphrased and misleading. If I could ask you another question please. What Bible version are you reading from and what Hebrew texts translations are you using? Obviously there are different ones out there.
@kellinicole1000, I use the KJV and consult the original language texts, to gain a better understanding of the passages. Though most modern versions are easier to read, many of them are paraphrases, and can be very misleading.

@imcrazy85, No, the Bible does not say that Satan is the Morning Star. The word Lucifer means "light bearer", and is the Latin name for the planet Venus. The Church teaches that Lucifer is Satan, but, the Bible does not teach that. See my videos on Lucifer.
So why if Jesus said not to follow Him would so people do so, all his apostles died for His name, why would they die horrible deaths for someone who said not to follow Him. So what is the truth then? I have a 14 part series entitled "Proof of Jesus", in which I covered all these "proof texts". Only one of them actually mentions Jesus, and it is a forgery that did not appear until the 4th century. Celsus was a critic of Christianity, and the Jesus he talked existed about 100 years before the time claimed in the Gospels, so that is certainly not proof for the existance of Jesus.

Many of those paintings of Jesus are really portraits Cesare Borgia, an illegitimate son of Pope Alexander VI. Holy water is only tap water mixed with olive oil. The word "Saint" means set apart. If you believe in God you are a saint. We should pray to God, not to dead people or fictional characters.

The passage you are talking about is found in 2Th 2:11-12 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." God is not doing this to confuse his flock. See Matthew 7:20-23.

The verse is NOT talking about "Jesus" fulfilling OT prophecies, as most believe. The word "fulfil" means to cram or stuff full, to magnify the LAW. In the Gospel tale, the Jews killed the messenger, and now the Christians worship the messenger as GOD, and ignore the message.

If Jesus was refering to himself when He said they were claiming I am the Christ, why is it used as a quote? Having those words as a quote implies those making the claim are refering to themselves, not Jesus.

See how easy it is for the translators to impose their own beliefs on the text? Compare Matthew 24:5 with Luke 21:8 " And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."-The word Christ was supplied by the translators and is not in the Greek text.

I believe that Christianity was a mystery religion. The guile that Paul was talking about was the outer message about Jesus, that was revealed to be only an allegory, once one was initiated. Not so. Josephus was not born until 37CE, and it is doubtful that he actually wrote the passage you refer to. Origen stated that Josephus did not believe Jesus was the Messiah, yet the passage says "He was the Christ". Clearly the passage did not exist in Origen's time. Josephus believed the Messiah was Vespasian. The first to quote the passage was Eusebius, in the 4th Century. It is believed that Eusebius actually forged the passage himself, and then "found it". Thank you so much for your insight. I truly have always doubted the bible and questioned the existance of Jesus. I have always prayed directly to God because it felt like the right thing to do, but out of habit end my prayers "In Jesus name, Amen." I guess I was taught that. In any event, after watching this I got out my bible (NKJV) and said a prayer for the Lord to direct me to the most important part of the bible that I should regard as truth. I Opened directly to Isaiah 42. Wow!

So, I suggest you get a KJV Bible and a copy of Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, making sure that it to is keyed to the KJV.

I have a 14 part series entitled "Proof of Jesus", in which I covered all these "proof texts". Only one of them actually mentions Jesus, and it is a forgery that did not appear until the 4th century. Celsus was a critic of Christianity, and the Jesus he talked existed about 100 years before the time claimed in the Gospels, so that is certainly not proof for the existance of Jesus.

Many of those paintings of Jesus are really portraits Cesare Borgia, an illegitimate son of Pope Alexander VI. Holy water is only tap water mixed with olive oil. The word "Saint" means set apart. If you believe in God you are a saint. We should pray to God, not to dead people or fictional characters.

The passage you are talking about is found in 2Th 2:11-12 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." God is not doing this to confuse his flock. See Matthew 7:20-23.

The verse is NOT talking about "Jesus" fulfilling OT prophecies, as most believe. The word "fulfil" means to cram or stuff full, to magnify the LAW. In the Gospel tale, the Jews killed the messenger, and now the Christians worship the messenger as GOD, and ignore the message.

If Jesus was refering to himself when He said they were claiming I am the Christ, why is it used as a quote? Having those words as a quote implies those making the claim are refering to themselves, not Jesus.

See how easy it is for the translators to impose their own beliefs on the text? Compare Matthew 24:5 with Luke 21:8 " And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."-The word Christ was supplied by the translators and is not in the Greek text.

c'td....There are many instances in which the gospel writers, notably Matthew, who misapply texts and verses from the Old, while misquoting and even stating something that doesnt appear at all in the Old. Was this a test to make sure that people were cognizant of the Old testament, to make sure that if they knew the Old Testament (hebraically as well, if possible), that the New Testament and Jesus could be revealed as just a story that tastes sweet, but in the belly, was bitter??

I have no doubt the Christian faith was a mystery religion, with an outer message for the masses, and an inner message for those counted worthy to know the truth. Eventually, those without understanding, came to power, and insisted that the outer message was literally true.

The Christians claim Jesus as the Passover Lamb, but, Passover had nothing to do with sin. Sin and tresspass offerings required a female lamb.

Because of these I've come to conclude that the NT is basically a corruption and fabrication, integrating misquotations, mistranslations and misapplications if compared to the Hebraic texts of the Torah. @ForBibletruth I believe he existed, but i don't believe his message. If you look at Deuteronomy 13 Verses 1-5...i think that's speaking on pretty much any impostor messiah, but it describes the plight and descent of Jesus as well. Or Daniel 8:23-26...pretty signifying stuff.

There are several methods that could have been used to make the Shroud- One was chemicals were rubbed on the surface, over a model-I will leave you to do the research. We do not know who wrote the Gospels, however, many of the sayings are reworked from the Old Testament, and borrowed from other faiths. Even the "Lord's Prayer" is actually a reworked Egyptain prayer to the god Amen.

@young2theb, I doubt it will ever happen. There has been movements for one world government since the days of Nimrod, and no doubt even before then. The Earth is certainly more than 6000 years old. There are many cases in the Bible, when the "whole world" is mentioned, but, it is really only talking about a small area.

Again, the Jesus described in the Bible is a fictional character; there is no genuine historical contemporary evidence to support his existance. God would never ask you to kill someone, because they didn't accept your faith.

Our government and the media have turned very liberal over the years, and most of the public's opinion is easily controlled by them. In addition, our government wishes to replace God-to take over his role. When I say that Jesus is the Antichrist-I am not talking about the story line presented in the surface narrative of the Bible-I am talking about reality. Yes, there is a video here on Youtube showing a group doing a responsive prayer to Obama. After each request, the people chanted "Obama, hear our prayer". At the very least, there is a personality cult in existance. The other day, Chris Matthews, who admitted getting a tingle up his leg when he sees Obama, and has stated that he believes it is his job to see to it that Obama is a success, blindly stated that charismatic leaders are a danger to our nation and the world. Hello?

Religion has been such a derranged idea that is still with us,it is truly the downfall of humanity. Solomons' Temple,for example....WAS NEVER FOUND. Israeli archeologists searched like the dickins for ANY EVIDENCE of it in Israel and never found one shread of evidence of it's existence. (and they never will because IT TOO....never existed!) The whole religion business was/is ONE GREAT CON-JOB.

I believe that Christianity was a mystery religion. The guile that Paul was talking about was the outer message about Jesus, that was revealed to be only an allegory, once one was initiated. Unfortuately, this outer message is now taught and believed by many to be fact. The Christian faith existed before the time of Paul or the time attributed to Jesus. Now granted,Josephus was a tool of Rome,having all the luxuries thrown on him as a Jew working for Rome,but he had mentioned 'someone in Palestine' that was doing a lot of preaching by a name I don't recall but sounding very much like 'Jesus' or 'Jmmanuel'.

Not so. Josephus was not born until 37CE, and it is doubtful that he actually wrote the passage you refer to. Origen stated that Josephus did not believe Jesus was the Messiah, yet the passage says "He was the Christ". Clearly the passage did not exist in Origen's time. Josephus believed the Messiah was Vespasian. The first to quote the passage was Eusebius, in the 4th Century. It is believed that Eusebius actually forged the passage himself, and then "found it".
