the stomach has acid in it. haven't you heard of stomach acid? not stomach water. also, you could argue that the others are slow release multis which may last longer in your system. do you feel any better on the new vitamins? i think that's what counts and if you do, keep on taking em!
Sorry, the studies done with senior citizens show that multivitamins arent broken down well in the body.
Somewhere online is a similar demo using Sprite as the liquid, to simulate the stomach acid. Given that a brass penny will disappear in days sitting in a cup of soda, I think it would be a fair comparison.
However, the OP's point is made. The easier broken down, the easier for the body to make use of whatever the vitamin is made of.
@jezzygj the human body is about 60 to 70 % of water, so how it breaks down in the water is how it breaks down in your body. if it takes long to dissolve it comes out of your body unused. there have been some nurses who find vitamin pills in the bedpans of their patients. how do i know? mmm through my business, there different types of ppl a few are nurses
