everybody knows that the pro and diamond are pretty much the same phone. the only major difference is the pro has a physical keyboard. my dad has the touch pro and loves it. he got the palm pre today so ill be hopefully getting the pro here soon. my dad works at SPRINT and everybody knows that SPRINT has the lowest prices for plans out there

The Samsung Omnia from VZW is a good option, as are the Touch Diamond, Samsung Insticnt, LG Dare, etc. It's difficult to say which is best for you, as everyone is different.

I believe it requires an unlimited Date & voice plan. But I get internet for free so I wont have to change my plan :)

You can get it with a family plan too, but in order to get the mail in rebate you need to have a data pack. But you can just tell sprint that you have had problems with the mail in rebates and they will give it to you as instant credit. THats what I did. :>

The navigation on this phone is inconsistent between some of the apps.

The Touch screen isn't that great, and you'll find yourself misclicking a lot. Notice how many times he misclicks items. Eventually he goes to the stylus. Imagine dealing with this over a 2 year contract?

I had high hopes for this phone. The $99 Simply Everything plan is incredible value, and watching videos while stuck in traffic, or streaming radio will make you grin. Too bad the phone isn't that great.

it looks like the back of the enV2 , i wonderif verizon will use that red backing. hows the battery life ? y is there no front camera on the gsm version? will verizon use windows 6.1 or no? what do you think?

Yeah, I agree.

The front camera IS on the gsm version.

But isn't on the sprint version because sprint does not currently support video calling. Verizon will most likely use WinMobile 6.1, and I'M not sure about the red back, but i wouldn't be surprised if they did use it, which they most likely will.
