As disgusting as everyone who sees this thinks it is, it is so much worse. Most puppy mills are a million times worse then this. Dogs infested with tumors, mites, fleas and diseases. They have sores everywhere and eat the sweepings off dog food companies, which ais really just sawdust and maggots. Dogs aren't left in cages to die, they are shot or let stray. Even worse? These are approved "breeders". We need to stop this.
The USDA should limit the number of licenses they hand out to breeders and should make it mandatory to be licensed whether selling to brokers or selling over the internet. Right now only those selling to petstores/brokers even need a license. There's no way to control things with different rules for different people. But, the UDSA isn't doing their job by inspecting these places and enforcing laws. Another prime example of our tax dollars hard at work.
Please educate yourself on the terrible abuse taking place in America's puppy mills. There are thousands of wonderful pets waiting to be adopted at animal shelters. The dogs are already spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, and are ready for their new home. Help put an end to the puppy mills and adopt a shelter pet. If you can't adopt, send a donation to your local humane society or animal shelter. Every little bit helps to find these animals their forever home.
Please adopt a pet from a local animal shelter. So many dogs and cats are put to death. I have two beautiful "mutts" from local shelters. Trust me a purebred dog can have just as many problems. Maybe if we all boycott these puppy mills - they will disappear. P.S. - Your heart will break when you go to an animal shelter and swell with pride when you rescue one and take it home. These pets know that they are being rescued and will love you forever for doing so.
Absolutely disgusting!!!Those people should be put in tiny cages and left!!There should be stricter laws(penalties)for people who run puppymills!Boycotting pet stores is one answer but then those babies are stuck there.Wish we could rescue them all!!This is so upsetting!!!!!
