  • good work

  • The SS office was next to the gas chamber. That was so b/c the SS wanted to be sure that all the Jews were completely dead before being cremated. When there was no more screaming coming from the Jews, the Zyklon B was stopped. The SS went in to check if all the Jews were dead. Then their gold teeth were pulled & stored in the SS office safe. After that, prisoners were called to pick up the dead Jews & throw them into the crematorium oven. That´s why there are no more remains of Auschwitzjews.

  • Excellent presentation.

  • @alanheath

It's a very useful model for perspective.

Something few notice is the 'undressing room' size compared to gas chamber size. Clever little nazis. People need space to undress quickly, but less space plus gas means faster death.

The small lift is also another of the denier straw men. You only need to lift bodies when the retorts are ready for them.

  • they use this on are animals still.. the animals are put into a chamber.. dogs with cats, it makes no matter.. They r terrified and crawl over leash other to get out.. it takes up to 40 minutes for the animals to die.. THEY DO THIS EVERYWHERE.. ANIMALS are put through this in our kill shelters. Kill shelter heads want to keep killing our animals...

  • @Rheinmetall20mm Hi. No, I'm not the PBS guy.

  • @KLresearcher Thanks! Thank you very very much. I made this 3D reconstruction and the video. This comment made my day. :)

  • Very good video.

  • well what program did you use to recreate this

  • Piece is Chopin's Raindrop Prelude

  • There were several doctors in the crematorium building...Dr Miklos Nyiszli...being one of them and wrote his book about his experiences being there..."A Doctor's eyewitness account"...

  • The only thing i would add is that the gully in the furnace room was corved and had no right angles. It wasnt so "sharp" but meore eliptical.

  • um is this done on minecraft and how do i build it

  • please tell me how you built this... I'm trying to build a model of the entire camp and need the crematorium as well

  • @100neilpeart wich info do you need?

  • this video is amazing. simple as that.

great job nunof showing what it's really like...just reading books and seeing pictures makes it really hard to imagine. (:

  • An elevator for bodies? that is a very odd design... very un-german way of thinking. It would make more sense to make people group in a higher floor than fall into ovens, or a ramp...

  • where did you get the specs to built the simulation man ??? any historical document or site where I can get a look it ???

  • what did you make this with? im trying to get extra credit for history and ive been to auschwitz 1 and birkenau and i want to do a visual reconstruction .

  • yet still,nazis exist.wow

  • black smoke?...okey....

  • we've heard it all, 6 million times and counting. You know, when the Soviets drove the Germans out of Poland one of the first things they did was the ruthless stamping out of THE ANTI-NAZI Polish underground as they represented a coherent opposition to the communist retards. I read here how people feel that "goodness won over evil"....really? America allied herself with the most murderous ideology without precedent in human history and not a single communist bastard was punished.

  • All can say is thank goodness won good won over evil despite losing millions of innocent lives in the interim those whom lost loves ones at auschwitz we will remember you and your loved ones whom lost their lives RIP

  • can we get it somewhere?

  • can we get it somewhere? i want to explore this thing :D

  • his crematorium would make a nice restaraunt or burger bar come theme pub

  • No offense, and I'm no Holocaust denier, but I've never read anywhere (and I've read quite a bit) that there was a doctor's office inside the gas chamber/crematorium buildings. Mengele's medical experiments took place in a different building in a different part of the camp. The Sonderkommando responsible for pulling gold teeth out of the corpses was nicknamed the "doctor," but the room in this vid is way too far from the crematorium for that purpose. Just an observation.

  • @YahtzeeNazi - It is known that at least three doctors worked in the Crematorium II. Some studies were performed there, including in a morgue (first floor). And the doctores helped the Sonderkommando and the guards that worked there too.

  • @YahtzeeNazi Mengele worked at block 10 of the original auschwitz and at bierkenau he worked in the same building as crematoria 2, my source is ive been there myself.

  • Would be more realistic to add the air conducts and to show how was the circulation of the air+HCN when the victims are fallen on the floor. U could simulate 2500 or 3000 into the rooms with the undressing into the 1st room. The gas chamber had 14 showers to deceive the people. I am not sure that the embedding of the wiremesh columns in the ceiling were like that because no traces of it exists at Krema II. The embedding of them in the floor is not clear. How are the remains of it in the ruins?

  • What is the 3D program what you used? Looks like Source SDK!

  • google Doe's Account.

  • i think u spent a little too much time making this video, lol, no, but seriously, i think u did a frickin awesome job on the 3D simulation

    i dont think i could've done tht, lol =P

  • @ModelHollister WHATS SO FUNNY

  • Great work. Very accurate.

  • scary

  • solo tristezza e dolore di fronte alla follia e alla crudeltà degli uomini,grazie...rispetto per tutti coloro che sono stati e sono vittime di violenze e discrimazioni...

  • very respectful of the suffering experienced there. Pray we never live to see this again and that Germany truly has repented

  • this is amazing! what an excellent way to teach your students. I wish I could be in your history class. how long did this take you to create? perhaps one day you could map other parts of Auschwitz and share them here on youtube. also could you tell me the name of the program you used?

  • This is a really well done rendering. It gives a nice sense of the layout and scale of the facilities. Pressac is a wonderful resource, and he goes into considerable detail about the drainage and ventilation systems. I noticed that your rendering of the gas chamber lacks drains (four along the middle of the floor) and vents (50 on top and a lessor number on the bottom of the longer walls). Pressac does a good job of describing these items and even has pictures in some cases.

  • hey do you mind telling me whats the title of the song at 1.35? thank you.

  • I visited Auschwitz last week your video is brilliant and can now invisage what crematoria 2 was like we must never forget the horrors that occured at Auschwitz and your video helps in that respect well done

  • Was it creppy to walk in? ( i know its a stupid question) How did it feel i mean.

  • Someone makes a point about scale - having seen the remnants of the undressing rooms of Crema 2 and 3 at Birkenau for myself, the virtual renderings on the BBC series looked on the large side to me. These seem closer to the actual scale. The BBC would have been working with the original drawings, though, wouldn't they, plus advice from Robert Jan van Pelt, the foremost archirectural historian on the subject. Pressac wouldn't be such a wise source, as he's a former denier isn't he?

  • 6 million jews died in there, just figure !

  • no they didn't. there were hundreds of crematoria in nazi europe. a fraction were gassed. most were shot, starved or worked to death.

  • really good thanks i was wondering what a lot of it looked lik

  • thank you for this 3D simulation, really nice work :-D

  • Thanks. :)

  • Excelente trabalho. Obrigada.

  • Obrigado por suas palavras. Pode não parecer, mas todo incentivo é importante e bem vindo :)

  • on 1:48 or so... I didn't know they burned them individually in a small coffin like thing in there.. I thought they put them in huge rooms with huge burners or something.. idk.. like a huge oven room that fit a lot of people... is this a game? it looks like a game or something.

  • It was almost individually. They put two or three people when they could.

It is not exactly a game, but an educational 3D reconstruction, using game technology.

  • Wasn't expecting this, a little fast but it's all there. if a little smaller scale than the deeply poignant 'Auschwits, Nazis & Final solution' shots - a documentary that SHOULD be seen!

But someone has put effort into this and even some of the many auschwitz films made weren't as accurate as this.

Two buildings I simply can't shake from my mind and never will. these were literally machines where 3000 at a time! (just try and think about that) went in and smoke and wealth came out.

  • The fake showers heads can be seen at 0:56-58 seconds.

  • You forgot about the shower heads in the gas chambers. The Nazis did everything they can to make people think they were talking 1 shower.

  • Actually, the shower heads exist in the simulation, but the video is a bit dark.

  • The fake shower heads are there in the simulation.Perhaps the only thing missing are the misleading signs saying "Bathhouse" as you see in Maidenek

  • You can see "Zum baden und desinfektion" in 0:36. Ther is written "Zum baden" (to bath) in door, too.

There is no remains of the original doors in Crematorium III. So, I choose to replicate the Majdanek door.

  • Does this come from BBC series on Auschwitz since the music is familiar ?

  • no, some of the music is the same as the music from the BBC series and then there is music from Schindlers List....

  • Survivor Yehuda Bakon did a sketch of the inside of the changing room of Krema 2 or 3, & survivor Olere also drew the interior where the bodies were dragged to the ovens to be cremated.

  • You are right. They were good sources for this reconstruction.

  • is that little beds in the ss office surely they where not sleeping in there with all that murder going on.......what hell was this

  • These were not beds, but shelves. The camera shows that spot too quickly.

  • god just seeing it like this..... too scary

  • a+ im puting this in my assignment as your work thanks for the link great work

  • Thank you. :)

  • Truly great video. Can I ask how you made this interactive environment.

  • wow, amazing video... u can actually see what the building looked like.. but what a horiffic place this was.. makes me want to cry

  • terrifiant, triste

  • omg awesome!! that was such an aweful building!! as in the real place not ur Vid cause it ROCKED!

  • wow great video, where did u find this video? how can i make 1?

  • aw ware do u go for the virtual tour that u do yourself?

  • Good Job. Bravo. Where do you teach?

  • Hi. Thanks for the comment. I teach in Curitiba (Brazil)

  • wow this is so amazing is there actually a link to see it on your own? i wold love to see it

  • fantastic re-construction, and very emotionally moving with a good score. that i remember from Shindler's list and The Nazi's and the final solution documentary. this is the best re- con i have ever seen. well done.

  • Call me SallyG
