My boyfriend Bill Rapp said this was our song...but he didn't tell me he was dying and soon he was gone, at age 50 from a heart problem. We had 5 months, one week and ten hours together, and that was better than nothing. But at the funeral, his friends and relatives and co-workers all told me that he had told them he was going to ask me to marry him in the next month. He hadn't had the money for a ring because the print shop kept laying him off. He stood 6'7" and his heart was even bigger.

It will be a year this month that my best friend Melissa killed her self and this song makes me think of her. Just to see her face, hear her voice, just to touch her on more time. The man is an example of greatness. All the parts that make the sum-total of Will Nelson = more than 100%. This song is a masterpiece. He delivers it better than anyone can. His guitar playing is hypnotic. Fantastic!

This was played at my 14yr old daughters funeral. She was murdered with six of her friends by an off duty police officer in Wisconsin in 2007. The song ran out beautiful as that wonderful little girl lay in her casket. She was an angel flying too close to the ground. Love ya Willie!
