Every time I watch your videos I feel that I myself want to be an interior designer. And then when I stop watching it for a period of time, life gets in the way and then I don't feel that desire again. My parents want me to become a doctor so I work hard towards that goal. But then today, I just decided to go through most of your videos and I feel happier, like this is something that I really want to do! So thanks for being there for all of us and being so amazing and inspirational! ♥

Sorry you lost me as a subscriber when you said that your show is a little better than Extreme Home Makeover. I love interior design but Extreme Home Makeover changes the lives of many people who are struggling, disabled and one step away from being homeless. That show celebrates the parents who are everyday heroes to their children and to their community. So to say that your show is a little better really turned me off and was inappropriate.

@heatherandtabi Thanks for the feedback. I had actually filmed for 20 minutes and broke it into 3 videos so my comment was in relation to the overall scheme of things.

I would like to know how to decorate and place furniture with a small room and lots of doors. My room is pretty small (10 x 13 ft) and on one wall I have three doors that open into my room (so that space is unusable) but I'm wondering what to put inbetween them. The spaces are too small for most furniture but I have no art that goes with my color pallet and I'm on a tight budget.
I have to say that I really, really enjoyed this video I agreed with everything you said and it's interesting to hear what you think about things. I'm so glad that Buck introduced me to your videos! I think that interior designing really will become popular on youtube.

I can only speak for myself, but the reason i don't always leave a comment is because i don't think the person is gonna ever read it... I don't wanna name names but most of the people i have sub'd to (except for you and Arturo Trejo) have never responded a comment, therefore i don't waste my time leaving anything anymore. If they don't try to make it look like they care, they cannot expect us to care either... So that's why i only leave comments to the people i know for sure will read mine.
@kandeesfan316 Thats what makes YouTube unique, its the personal contact (even if just a sentence) You might LOVE Candice Olson's designs but good luck getting a message to her, much less a response! Most of us can relate the frustration of leaving a comment and feeling unacknowledged. My point is, it's what it does for you... whether or not they respond is their loss but if indeed you like the video, you can feel good about being a giver regardless of whether you get in return. Is about you :)

Wise words Rebecca. You mentioned the fact that people were asking for dorm suggestions (and on a budget), and I was wondering if you could do that with an added recycled furniture/ furniture restoration aspect? ;) Most of us students don't have the cash to splurge on new and expensive room centrepieces. :(

You're so funny @touristinexile, So... why I choose to use simple molding on my staircase when the crown molding is more elaborate. Heres my answer... unlike my client projects, my own home evolves over time and tends to be more eclectic and less perfect. However, I often mix things up. If everything is a crescendo, nothing stands out as special. I love the hand forged Iron work on the railing, simpler molding allows the iron to be the focal point. More elaborate molding might have competed. R

I do, by the way, believe you're as nice, talented, professional and intelligent as lots of people here have said. I bet that, to them, like I say in my marketing company, you already stand out to lots of people like a red penguin in a sea of black and white. That's why I suggested: Learn to see yourself as they do you, then LOVE that you can present yourself that same way to prospects like your best customers. I really really love this. I adore interior decorating. I use it as my relief.. I re-organize and decorate my apartment whenever I am happy,sad, anxious, mad.. it makes me feel so much better. Everyone makes fun of me though because people always come over and look at my stuff different every week or month..but nobody understands how much happiness it can give me. Hey! I love your videos. I know that your target audience is probably adults, but I'm a teenage girl who is trying to redo my room and can't figure out what to put on my walls. I've done the bulletin boards and everything, but whenever I do it it always looks 'blah'. Can you do videos on teenage room decorating ideas, like ways to organize or ways to decorate walls that isn't too 'adultish'? I just finished remodeling my home, (what a horror story that was). We are working to finish projects that the builder did not finish. As for the decorating I don't know what to do first. Rugs, upholstered furniture or what? So for my ideas for videos I would say... basic steps to start decorating, how to choose area rugs, accessorizing, window treatments, coordinating fabrics, and how to make confident decorating decisions! I want that "OMG I love it", reaction when I walk from room to room.
I would absolutely love if you would make a dorm video--I'm going to college this fall and it seems like there is so little that you can do in so small a space. Thank you again for doing all of these videos--it means a lot to me to be able to see them, I just didn't realize how much the comments meant.

however to Many ...especiallyf the MOST popular YT'ers they are only important in furthering their $ goals for partnership. Now I realize that anyone with HUGE numbers cant answer EVERY comment...but MANY NEVER reply at all...EVER. In fact some have even admitted that they very rarely even read them.
@Cbax2 I know what you are saying. I think thats one of the reasons people love Michael Buckley. The first time he commented on one of my videos, I was Shocked! Flattered! and Blown away! Its what makes him so endearing to so many. God willing, as my channel grows, I will always keep a humble perspective and remain a giver and not become a taker. I've lived in my home for a year now and still haven't started decorating. YOU have been my encourager! Your videos have given me so many amazing ideas, not to mention the kick in the butt I need. As far as something I would love to see on your channel, maybe some design for small spaces. My biggest trip up in getting my home in order has been that it's so small, and I'm afraid that by adding more furniture and accessories I'm going to make it feel tight and closed in instead of beautiful.

We never use english in our country. l like beautiful settings in a particular spaces, i appreciate arts, designs...but i never meet my dream career until to this time. Im 22 and bothered about sending my self back to college.. Please help me, i dont know what field of study in college i should take. Sorry you lost me as a subscriber when you said that your show is a little better than Extreme Home Makeover. I love interior design but Extreme Home Makeover changes the lives of many people who are struggling, disabled and one step away from being homeless. That show celebrates the parents who are everyday heroes to their children and to their community. So to say that your show is a little better really turned me off and was inappropriate.

I love your videos, I actually thought it was getting more interesting as you went on and by the time you said okay well this is a long video , i probably lost about half my audience - i was like well that made the video enthusiasm just drop - i was so intrigued by in what you were saying that I didn't even notice how long the video was.

@heatherandtabi Thanks for the feedback. I had actually filmed for 20 minutes and broke it into 3 videos so my comment was in relation to the overall scheme of things.
I realized after I watched this portion, it seemed a little random... to say that... LOL. I would like to know how to decorate and place furniture with a small room and lots of doors. My room is pretty small (10 x 13 ft) and on one wall I have three doors that open into my room (so that space is unusable) but I'm wondering what to put inbetween them. The spaces are too small for most furniture but I have no art that goes with my color pallet and I'm on a tight budget.

I can only speak for myself, but the reason i don't always leave a comment is because i don't think the person is gonna ever read it... I don't wanna name names but most of the people i have sub'd to (except for you and Arturo Trejo) have never responded a comment, therefore i don't waste my time leaving anything anymore. If they don't try to make it look like they care, they cannot expect us to care either... So that's why i only leave comments to the people i know for sure will read mine.

@kandeesfan316 Thats what makes YouTube unique, its the personal contact (even if just a sentence) You might LOVE Candice Olson's designs but good luck getting a message to her, much less a response! Most of us can relate the frustration of leaving a comment and feeling unacknowledged. My point is, it's what it does for you... whether or not they respond is their loss but if indeed you like the video, you can feel good about being a giver regardless of whether you get in return. Is about you :)

You're so funny @touristinexile, So... why I choose to use simple molding on my staircase when the crown molding is more elaborate. Heres my answer... unlike my client projects, my own home evolves over time and tends to be more eclectic and less perfect. However, I often mix things up. If everything is a crescendo, nothing stands out as special. I love the hand forged Iron work on the railing, simpler molding allows the iron to be the focal point. More elaborate molding might have competed. R

I do, by the way, believe you're as nice, talented, professional and intelligent as lots of people here have said. I bet that, to them, like I say in my marketing company, you already stand out to lots of people like a red penguin in a sea of black and white. That's why I suggested: Learn to see yourself as they do you, then LOVE that you can present yourself that same way to prospects like your best customers. I really really love this. I adore interior decorating. I use it as my relief.. I re-organize and decorate my apartment whenever I am happy,sad, anxious, mad.. it makes me feel so much better. Everyone makes fun of me though because people always come over and look at my stuff different every week or month..but nobody understands how much happiness it can give me. Hey! I love your videos. I know that your target audience is probably adults, but I'm a teenage girl who is trying to redo my room and can't figure out what to put on my walls. I've done the bulletin boards and everything, but whenever I do it it always looks 'blah'. I just finished remodeling my home, (what a horror story that was). We are working to finish projects that the builder did not finish. As for the decorating I don't know what to do first. Rugs, upholstered furniture or what? So for my ideas for videos I would say... basic steps to start decorating, how to choose area rugs, accessorizing, window treatments, coordinating fabrics, and how to make confident decorating decisions! I want that "OMG I love it", reaction when I walk from room to room.

Hi, (yes, i watched all the way thru :) I really enjoy your videos...wanted to say that first off.
But also, wanted to say that yes, to YOU perhaps.,as you're kinda new, comments are important.
however to Many ...especiallyf the MOST popular YT'ers they are only important in furthering their $ goals for partnership. Now I realize that anyone with HUGE numbers cant answer EVERY comment...but MANY NEVER reply at all...EVER. In fact some have even admitted that they very rarely even read them.

@Cbax2 I know what you are saying. I think thats one of the reasons people love Michael Buckley. The first time he commented on one of my videos, I was Shocked! Flattered! and Blown away! Its what makes him so endearing to so many. God willing, as my channel grows, I will always keep a humble perspective and remain a giver and not become a taker. I've lived in my home for a year now and still haven't started decorating. YOU have been my encourager! Your videos have given me so many amazing ideas, not to mention the kick in the butt I need. As far as something I would love to see on your channel, maybe some design for small spaces. My biggest trip up in getting my home in order has been that it's so small, and I'm afraid that by adding more furniture and accessories I'm going to make it feel tight and closed in instead of beautiful.

We never use english in our country. l like beautiful settings in a particular spaces, i appreciate arts, designs...but i never meet my dream career until to this time. Im 22 and bothered about sending my self back to college.. Please help me, i dont know what field of study in college i should take. I guess you can help me, because.. well its hard to explain but there is something about you that attracts me to leave a comment and asking you for help. Thanks! : ) Gladly i have seen this video.
