  • so how do you export the tracks to your daw, in midi files so you still have the same sounds available and can tweak everything when its in your daw or in audio files if you want to keep the original machine sounds?

  • turn off the goddam metronome

  • you look like moby

  • can we get some videos without this tool using it, this guy makes me feel uncomfortable he doesn't know music

  • whats the point in that???

  • Can you use other NI plugins with this, Such as Kore 2, Reaktor 5 or FM8?

  • You can now use Kore 2 with the 1.1 update.

  • A great Maschine indeed. And I agree they should switch the blue pads to red/orange, and the Orange pads to Blue.

  • RTFM!

  • check out my live pa stuff :)

  • Agreed. The orange is so ugly imo.

  • whats the cost of this thing! Somone Please send a reply ty!

  • In Europe about €560 I think, in the US $600 or so. (I'm not entirely sure, it could be a bit less or a bit more)

  • does it work well with being assigned to midi functions?

  • Comment removed

  • im getting one!!! this looks so easy to use

  • check out some other drum pads like akai's and padkontrol or m-audio trigeer finger

  • is the same of akai apc 40?

  • no, its like a padkontrol korg....

  • Check out BPM by MOTU. WAY BETTER AND CHEAPER in PRICE!

  • You forgot to mention that's your opinion.

  • i use MPD and Guru - it's cool. i like that the MPD has a load of sliders, so live i can assign them as channel faders on the mixer in the DAW

  • Nice dude. Gonna buy next week. Should be a nice, nice maschine with the Komplete 5 as well.

  • I have an MPD32 and MASCHINE. I didn't want to run cables between a MPC2x/5x or an MV-8800 to a Audio Interface and my DAW. The MPD32 hasn't live up to its hype yet...it's not a bad product, but it doesn't have anything you can really do out of the box. MASCHINE will have you making music as soon as you get the software and updates installed. It's a great combo of hardware/software. It sounds great too.

  • that's nice to find out, I'd like to use an external keyboard controller with it... hope it's feasible.

  • According to a video on NI's site, all you do is plug your midi keyboard right into Maschine's midi in to control Mashcine's synths.

  • Does it have only drum sounds?!? Or is it able to play regular instruments (synth, piano, strings, etc.) ?

  • just like any sampler, u can load samples that are other sounds into it.

  • this maschine or the mv8800 for house music i want to use a hareware control to make beats.

  • I just got an akai MPK49 I use reason and ableton. I like the keboard and all but should I just sell it and buy one of these?

  • you should do what we tell you

  • ya dude thats what i meant. Fuck you. I didnt ask for little bitch ass snide answers. If you've used the equipment maybye you'd have something worth saying to me. faggot

  • sorry. the answer is: yeah, you should sell it and buy one of those, it;s going to sort it all out

  • it should be called maskine - not maschine

  • ok.. i love native instruments, but i don't think i'll be selling my machinedrum anytime soon.. maschine needs to be hooked up to a computer to work is what i'm understanding. can you actually load samples into the maschine and walk away from your computer? and if so, what amount of storage do you have on the actual hardware?

  • sigmasix, I think what you are asking is whether the Maschine can operate as a stand-alone unit? I don't think so; from what I can gather, Maschine is like a MIDI controller that is designed to work with the NI software. All the processing and whatnot is done within the computer.

Kind of like how Guitar Rig works: it's all done in software, but the hardware gives you the ability to control it without having to look at the computer screen.

  • no it works as a stand alone and midi

  • I think Maschine has knocked the Korg padKontrol off my wish list.

I like what NI has been doing lately. They've got some really great products. Guitar Rig 3 is awesome.

  • The korg nano systems arent all that great from reviews... your better off getting good stuff like this :)

  • I wasn't talking about a nano, I was talking about the padKontrol.

  • ah fair doos, thought u meant nanos lol. What NI products do you have? Cant wait to get maschine lol

  • I don't have any of their hardware products... yet. Just Guitar Rig 3 software, and I've tried Reaktor and a few of their synths (FM8, etc). Reaktor is really freaking cool, there's so much stuff you can do with it.

NI makes some of the best audio software around.

  • Reaktor is great, all the preset synths and the ability to make your own, its really indepth stuff... Love making synths although they arent all that lol some of the processes are difficult to get to grips with.

  • very nice

  • pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! pre-ordered! :DDD

  • nice glass

  • DAMN INTERESTING i might add.highly likely i'm getting one!!!!!!

  • This looks interesting.
