To whomever asked: these fish are not eaten because they are "bottom feeders". In other words, they live off other fishes excrement, the algae which it falls upon and all of the man made pollutants on the river (or lake) bottom and their flesh is therefore infested with parasites and chemicals. @KABOY26 I'm not entirely sure about this video specifically, but this can, will, and has happened in the Great Lakes in Illinois, and the Mississippi River. Flying carp are a big problem and are pushing native fish species out. They're having fun here, but it's pretty dangerous. If one of these were to hit you in the head, you could end up with a concussion or worse.
