This is a wholesome show, a fun show. About 90% of what is on tv today is trash, and not even fit for an animal to watch. As a matter of fact, I don't even watch tv anymore because of all the garbage. The only time I have anything to do with tv is when I watch an old vhs tape of an old show like Ozzie and Hariett.

I just watched the Nelson's old Christmas shows during the Holidays. The 25th anniversary of Rick's tragic plane crash came on Christmas Eve. Now (in January,2011) David Nelson has passed away. Their Christmas shows have become more valuable than ever for those of us who grew up watching them.

@Pectoris4 It was New Year's Eve of 1985 when Ricky Nelson's plane crashed not far from where the Stephenville, Texas UFO appeared on Elvis Presley's birthday in 2008. Elvis and Ricky Nelson looked like twins to me. Dian Fossey, the savior of mountain gorillas in Ruwanda, was murdered on Christmas Eve, 1985. Her murder remains unsolved. So does the murder of Ruwanda gorilla Digit who died in 1977, the same year Elvis left us.

spending the morning with the nelsons. don't remember ever watching them but i've enjoyed all the c-mas stories! well off to make the beds and scrub the potty!

One of those little kids coming out of the trees looks like "Chip" from My Three Sons.

This is the best Ozzie and Harriet, for interesting idea. Too bad the song was so dull.
