I wish I could find the DVD of this concert, but, I only lucked into the recording with my old VCR and managed to convert it. I couldn't let it die on the old video tape! I think YouTube blocked me from my page because I posted this (I still don't know). :)
This must have been at the Berklee Performance Center while Makoto was still just a student. Even as a student he was the talk of Boston. He was a show stealer no matter who he backed. I saw him as part of the backing trio for Dizzy when he came to town and Makoto just stole that show as well. He is such a talent.
