It would be awesome if they had the right stick to control your stick and the left stick to control the glove and you could use the triggers to move back and forth, then EA could come up with some kind of AI to position yourself between the net and the player. And you could use combinations with the sticks to do moves like butterfly could be pushing down on both then dragging them up in oppsite directions, I hope then do something like that for NHL 09

well you can understand why if unrealistic they would have to make it that way, peoples reactions to looking at a screen and moving aren't as fast as being there and seeing the puck and having more options as to what to do, so they make it so you can get in front of the puck faster
