This was a surprise to me; I didn't know Mr. Montalban had a spinal disease. He obviously hid it very well all throughout his amazing work in movies, television and commercials. He was definitely one of a kind and I will miss him dearly.

@quirpco : Neither did I . I always thought he injured it when he was thrown from that horse; had not idea that he had a spinal malformation that was aggravated by the fall. Learn something new every day.

What a wonderful man. I have always admired him, but only now do I know where that great humanity that shone from him came from. His fortitude was incredible.

RIP Ricardo, I shall strive to make the most of my life in your honour.

I used to have dreams about Ricardo. One dream I had, he was at my bedside while I was having one of my children. I guess I just felt he would have been a compassionate labor coach, because he seems to have such a pure heart and good character

Ricardo Montalban is so suave, and has so much class. He is a real gentleman, and what a lucky woman Giorgianne Young has been, to be his loving, and only wife of so many years.
