  • Yes, I think of those days and especially Fairport. Back in t i m e...

  • Jacquie/Sandy/Maddie -? All astounding singers, with a shared history. Its not a competiton as in X-Factor. We are blessed with a whole generation of exceptional female traditional vocal talent in the UK around this time. The fluidity of band personnel during this period was what strengthened and enhanced the UK folk scene at the time, and made it so wonderful!

  • a marvellous voice in a electronic carpet.

    Wonderful.

  • She sounds better now than ever before.

  • I've recently noticed that her voice and singing style are much similar with Joni Mitchell's

  • Interesting! Approx 2008 the real Pentangle cut another album, minus John but with a fiddler, though John might have been in the photos. Have'nt found the album; dunno what happened to John at this time. - Only heard 1 track & as expected, Bert sounds great.

  • ok who cut da Fair... just as I was drifting

  • Her voice is still beautiful.

  • absolutely chilling; her voice is magical!!!!

  • The Jacquie Mc Shee's voice is so emotionally touching!...**********

  • van morrison's version isn't too shabby either

  • I'll beg to differ and say Sandy Denny's is the best, have you heard Elvis Costello's version, fantastic.

  • loreena mckinnett does this song the very best check her out!

  • "She moves through the fair"! Nice. One of the oldest folk songs.

That's the lovely "Once I had a sweet heart" following.

    (Not sure about the third.)
