Now that I've seen this video, a memory comes to mind.

When I was a little girl (age 7 or 8), I remember hearing a Bamboo band in a fiesta street parade similar to what you see in the video, I was simply fascinated, that I actually made my own musical instrument made of a bamboo twig ... and young banana leaf. My Grandma Maria (Apung Maria) had this huge garden full of fruit trees, bananas and bamboo.
