i think that taking ballet for years doesn't make ur hip hop dance worst, i think it's just a head start for you, u just need to keep training to get the vibe

WHAT? YOU'RE HELLA GOOD! Especially when you only had ballet experience. I can relate to you too. Becuase, I'm have been doing ballet for 10 years and I'm starting to do hip hop. It's a whole new world. HAHA.
