It looks like your style is a little different than the style of Xing Yi I do, but remember that Pi Quan is "splitting palm" Remember to roll your Dan Tien down to up and then up to down as you are doing it. This isn't that bad. But I'd say: stand in santi. Just do that, every day. That's what wrong with a lot of xingyi today; a lack of fundamentals, not enough zhan zhuang training, too much muscular power, too much obsession with looking good. I can't assess how good that practise was without asking how you felt about it, but as with every thing in xingyi, all you need to do is stand in santi.
That's probably the best damn resolution I've ever heard. I love santi, you know. Feels like taking a warm bath, but you can do it every morning and whenever the heck you want. And it's better for you. A good idea is to get some wrist weights - increases the strength of your arms in standing practise. But hey, any standing's better than no standing.
