Cool! A nice variation would be to accent the Ls (either one actually) before the final K, like say every 2nd or 4th time the pattern repeats. That's probably already been mentioned though.

its an awesome pattern, but can it be considered linear since you're playing the kick and HH at the same time? I always thought I understood a linear pattern to be no two beats played at the same time during the pattern... just curious. I dig it tho!

Your right hand and kick drum fall together. A linear pattern is when each drum is being hit separately. No two drums can be hit at the same time. This is a cool groove, but its not Linear.

Yes it's a pair of SIH1s. I use them for live and in the studio, and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for isolation headphones (as long as you don't mind looking like Mickey Mouse :) )

Volume output really depends on what device you have it connected to. I use a Yamaha Clickstation and never had any problems regarding volume output.
