This is NOT rollkur! i Think you all should look up what rollkur realy is and indeed check anky.. edward is indeed a student of anky but it doesn't mean that he ride's the same way .. He's 10 times better!

I think Gribaldi's moves look more fluent than totilas, but totilas moves are more precise. Anymay they are both great horses!

Edward Gal seems to like black horses ;)

I think Gribaldi´s Dressage looks much more easier as Totilas´ Dressage.

Although the moves of Totilas looks much more impressive, but it looks also a little bit more edged than Gribaldi´s moves.

But both horses are great, of course. :)

And Edward Gal is my favourite rider in Dressage.

Ähmmm, bei nem Aortaabriss stirbt das Pferd innerhalb weniger Minuten, da es verblutet! Da bleibt auch nicht wie behauptet wurde Zeit, das Pferd in eine Klinik zu bringen...!

Call the landesamt. They recommend facilities and trainers in any area. The stables are rated with stars, much like the Michelin guide. 4 stars is very good.

I notice that Gribaldi drops his poll, making his upper crest the highest point. I have a Trakehner who soes exactly the same thing and I have not been able to correct this problem. Anyone know if this is a 'trakehner thing' or does anyone have any tips or tricks to help this problem long term, as it is very difficult to correct this for more than a few steps.. the poll drops back to it's happy place.(But I am happy to see that even top horses can have this habit and it's not just my trekky!)

This is not a Trakehner thing - how could it be? Try YouTube in connection with "Gribaldi" and "Hyperflextion". It should become pretty clear where his neck position comes from. It's actually pretty sad to watch. I applaud that horse for keeping his spirit up for such a long time under that kind of training.

As far as your own horse goes, that is pretty difficult to diagnose over the internet ;-)

I understand hyperflexion, and I don't do it cause I don't think it's any use. They just suck back thru transitions. I do my best to keep him up to the poll, but he feels like he's not coming from behind when he is in a correct outline. It's a strange feeling & I was just looking to see if anyone knew any handy tricks to fix this problem, whilst maintaining the feeling of thruness.. even tho it looks great from the ground, it feels terrible when he is up to the poll & I don't know how to fix it.

He is very good, but he is a young man and just starting out at the top levels. It takes many years to improve at the top levels, because there is so much to learn at that level.

I don't feel he slouches or that the passage 'collapses'.

Taysno, horses do not switch their tails like cats to maintain balance. Horses in dressage are expected to have their tail wave back and forth regularly as they move, it shows relaxation. This horse lifts and swings his tail alot - but since there are no other signs of tension, it's not important or sign of a problem.
