I really hate about owning NWN2 though is that nobody even seems to bother hosting the original Campaign of it online and working anymore...its always there maps or don't with other at all...ARGHH!..and to think I could get a easy cool break from paying for Star Trek Online! or even the overaddicting World of Warcraft!

Loool, you know nothing about computers do you? 8400m is obviously an integrated laptop chip, thus the "m" which stands for mobile. The processing power of this chip is sub par compared to even the 7 series, due to the fact that it can neither be power hungry nor produce high output of heat. It's not a gaming chip. Because he has the 8400M, while most other vendors are using ATI, or better Nvidia chips, I can then deduct he's using either a mac, or an XPS M1530 or M1330. Memory don't mean shit

Because of the fact that Macs can't run games for shit, I can then conclude he's using an XPS M1530 or M1330. Not many other laptops use the chip, as it was infamous for overheating problems, so much in fact, Dell / Nvidia had added an extended warranty for free.

I played NW1 and it is a fantastic game! :D Purely amazing. I'm thinking about buying NW2 but I'm not sure if my comp will work well with it.

Yes, that should be more than enough. NWN2 ran decently on my laptop - 3gb RAM, NVidia Geforce 8400M. My speed is 2.0 GHZ duo core; I think increasing the processor speed would be great.

Why does everyone say the first NWN is better, I played it for awhile...graphics are shit, voice acting is cheesy as hell (eg Mature Swashbuckler)

NWN2 is a great RPG, maybe you need a better video card.

@Galdhon Not just that, but NWN 2 overheats the computer. Not everyone has, or even can afford, up-to-date Nvidia cards. It's like trying to read a good book but the print is too little to read. I'd like to continue the story, but the overall rendering of the game makes it near-unplayable for those who are in a money crunch. If there would ever be a NWN 3, it better be made by Bioware.

@SlitYourThroatz you gotta realise man that mature swashbuckler is in never winter nights 2 as well not to mention that there's allot missing from never winter nights 2 that you can still find in the original never winter nights If anything The original has far more. However complaining about graphics is not a very legitimate complaint ( seeing as that the graphics of any game is based on the time of when it was made and the technology available EG your not gonna play crysis on Snes)

You cannot play this game without a fairly decent system. If your set up s more than 3 yeasr old and has no 600 series or high gfx card, do not buy this game without upgrading yoursystem first. Once you do, WOW! This game is very cool and so is the expansion.

Well i have encountered a serious bug with this CRAP of a game.When in Neverwinter at some point the game crashes when i am trying leaving the docks of Nevrwinter city.I have not an earlier save game OUTSIDE of the city and i cant exit out of any gate...Oh i have the latest patches installed.I payed money and i cannot play the game :PSame story with Gothic 3.And then the developers ask themselves why people buy pirate games...

just start over!

save your char and have it redo the campaign from the start! your lucky it was at the docks and not at the very end of the game (like me)

I could leave my Keep but if I tried starting the war BANG nothing.

btw remember to save often, I think they say that in the game when you load a new area sometimes. (but remember not to overwrite every damned time)
