Why the hell can't I move the zooming square anywhere I want on a clip? I can only move it sideways :S. Can anyone help?

i had the same prob ...... on the left menu of the pan crop window ... the last button is an arrow .... if the arrow is horizontal ..then u can only move the zoom effect sideways .... click on it untill it becomes a four sided arrow

Vegas 9 is movie studio, this is vegas pro so 9 doesnt have this. 9 is more like windows movie maker like a basic sony vegas.
