@hydepinto Thanks for your comment - glad you enjoyed them. :) They are actually from a VHS cassette released in 1999, called "The Michael Nyman Band - Live in Concert". The 11 pieces on the video were performed in Ampuero, Spain in 1996 (I think).

the violinist are shaking there heads not to show how into the song they are its because the horns trumpets and other wind instruments fade them away so they have to play really hard in order to get the violins to be heard. Imagine how many strings they broke during rehearsal
