Nothing like an apostolic doctrine believing, Jesus Christ name baptized, tongue talking holy ghost filled, Bible believing, holy living saint of the most high God. And when we assemble together to worship almighty God, Jesus Christ, together, he comes right in the midst of our praise! Jesus, the only and awesome God.
I gotta say I am a young man ... (just turned 33 last week) and I know about this kind of praise. OOWEEE!!! Lord I just want to thank you didn't have a lot of words but it spoke VOLUMES!!!! I just love GOD for His goodness! Ok let me stop i feel a praise bout to rise.
I love watching saints praise the Lord. I went to bible college, Baptist Univ. of America which was near this church location in 1976 which is now Candler Road Apartments. Continue preaching sanctification.
The COGIC didn't come from the Apostolic Church they were altogether at first until Bishop Hayward Nelson discovered the importance of useing the name Jesus and than they seperated. Check out pentcostal Church history.

Somebody explain this COGIC thing please! Is it a group with in the Apostolic Pentecostal ones movement like the UPC is? Or is it some denomination I've never heard of?
Church of God In Christ, it is the largest african american pentecostal denomination. The organization traces its roots back to the Azuza Street Revival and Bishop Charles Mason. The organizaiton was organized in 1907 and its headquaters is in Memphis, TN. Originally it was one of the first congregations to have integrated services,
but unfrotunatly the evil forces of Jim Crow penetrated the ministry resulting in a racial divide with the whites forming the well known "Assemblies of God" denomination which is the largest pentacostal organization in the country, COGIC is the second largest.

cogics and aostolics, ARE NOT the same. there are similarities, but not the same. the cogic movement, originally came from the paw denomination. there was only the paw (penecostal assemblies of the world) but there was a split because certain people bleved different things like on baptism, GOD, etc, then what the paw was teaching, so those people left, and formed what is called cogic. other denominations which ARE apostolic/pentecostal are branches of penecostalism like upc, cooljc, pcaf, etc.
@123terricam how you can separate salvation from the Holy Ghost? Then 2 say you don't need the Holy Ghost to be saved is "hyprocrisy." The Holy Ghost and being saved are interchangeable. You can't have one without the other because they are "one-in-the-same." The Holy Ghost is salvation, and it is what saves us from sin. The Holy Ghost is "power" ACTS 1:8 How can one say they are saved, and have no power? It's like a car, without a battery can't be driven because it has no power.

The Bible does NOT say that baptism should only be done in JESUS name and JESUS HIMSELF said to baptize in the name of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT....The Apostles nor any prophet said that but JESUS HIMSELF said THAT and still you continue to MISINTERPRET!

Where's the sovereignty of GOD in your statement??? when CHRIST own words implemented "salvation" for that theif and really anyone who believed on HIM....CHRIST continued to echo SALVATION throughout HIS MINISTRY before the cross, brethren! HE was persistent in making known the NEW belief system to HIS people (ie. ONLY BELIEVE) and then the Apostles only repeated that teaching later on but SALVATION was already in place before HE died on the cross...

"Baptizing them in the NAME of the father, son, and holy ghost" name is plural. Jesus is the name...1 Lord 1 Faith 1 Baptism. No other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved. Jesus is his name. Acts2:38 no other way

@RevChasM919 But if there was a KINGDOM need for ALL to baptized with water in order to be saved, then the thief would not have been welcomed into paradise spiritually with CHRIST regardless of before or after the ascension, CHRIST IS sovereign and no where in scripture does it say we must be baptized with water to inherit the KINGDOM HE just said GOOO and baptize every creature but you can believe that there were some who were certainly saved on their confession and FAITH ALONE now go in peace!

The COGIC didn't come from the Apostolic Church they were altogether at first until Bishop Hayward Nelson discovered the importance of useing the name Jesus and than they seperated. Check out pentcostal Church history.

cogics and aostolics, ARE NOT the same. there are similarities, but not the same. the cogic movement, originally came from the paw denomination. there was only the paw (penecostal assemblies of the world) but there was a split because certain people bleved different things like on baptism, GOD, etc, then what the paw was teaching, so those people left, and formed what is called cogic. other denominations which ARE apostolic/pentecostal are branches of penecostalism like upc, cooljc, pcaf, etc.

These are old pentacostal congregational songs. There is no music written for them, they are just handed down orally from church to church.
The first song is called "i'm so glad the lord saved me" and the other is "lord i just want to thank you. I hope this helps.
