This is the one that gets my mother the piano teacher and Chopin/Mahler/wagner appreciator.
Hey mom just about every stream of musical thinking other than that of your career has been investigated and performed by this one cat..without ever making a genre album, rather, always some new concoction - concantination - hand-picked and calling for other virtuosi.
I consider the florid Mr McL a democratic bandleader. Ive seen him allow Saunders, Smith, Goldberg, Shankar Gurtu, Eckhardt all to wail
'I do not like the reappearance of The Jesuits ... If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in hell, it is this society of Loyola's. Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religous toleration to offer them an asylum.' John Adams, 2nd President of the U.S.A
Excellent!! I bought this album when it first came out and remember thinking that if I could play this, I would die happy. Well....now I can play it and it does not sound near as good as this!! John was and is just something else!
What is the name of the song on this album (the one with his school picture in it) which starts "Thank You for the Love that You bring every morning" and does anyone know where I can download it?
Sure zenguin13,you don't need my permission!!! I don't own the rights to anything I post!! I'm pretty sure someone else has posted the gem!! Peace & Blessings!! :-)
@zenguin13 A cover is always necessary. In concealment lies a great part of our strength. Hence we must always hide ourselves under the name of another society. --Die neusten ararbeiten des Spartacus and Philo in dem Illuminaten-Orden, 1794, p: 165
This is taken from page 491 of Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. 'Coincidentally' Umberto Eco has written the introduction to the newly printed version of Alexandre's The Count of Monte Christo.

Listening to this once again, in a moment of insecurity...what a gentle, but confident soune.
