pretty good technique, but the arrangement needs a little revision, "i think".. You did a great job in arranging the time signatures, but it in my opinion i think you need to work on the transition, cuz the transition sounded kinda plain for me. Just stating my opinion here. Good luck

@inferiorJK no it doesn't. prog rock has 4/4 too. He did change the rhythm, even if it was by changing the time signature. Makes it sounds incoherent. To change to time signature, the tune has to fit the time signature. This melody doesn't fit. Different time signatures doesn't equal prog.

I think you may have taken 'progressive out of context.' The song is progressive in that it flows from section to section rather than going in a verse-chorus-verse-chorus form. True, it isn't the best example, and I may be interpreting what you say incorrectly, but it seemed like you thought progressive to mean making progress in the evolution of a genre rather than the piece itself progressing through a number of unique sections.
