I just gave this another listen recently, and it is their weakest. The first 2 albums are a lot better, and their first EP is great as well.

They also had this cool little pink vinyl release called Pink Mammoth.

It was pretty good. It has just one song on each side and one is a Prefuse 73 remix.

it wasn't THAT bad. compared to FIOTWBTT it wasnowhere near as extrordinary but it wasn't a complete failure. it just wasn't as "majestic" as FIOTWBTT.

Nice dude. Pelican are awesome. Although I like Fire in Our Throats more, City of Echoes is a good album. I'd give it a 3/5. I like their songs like Last Day of Winter and Sirius which have more of an epic post rock sound, rather than City of Echoes which is straight up rock.
