"You can blame the governement but not the soldiers, they dont have the choice and they do their best to serve and defend their country"
Omfg. What a damn shit. They must have had a choice. Nobody is forced to join the arme in USA. If somebody has money-problems, i'm sure he can find something else when he/she thinks about it just a bit. Every country is full of idiots, but USA has the most. GZ!
what about the soldiers that joined before the war? there is a "stop-loss" that was enacted during the beginning of the war, preventing soldiers from leaving. i'm not sure that is still going on, probably so in some areas of the service. they didn't have a choice, and there wasn't a war at the time.
"not everyone (including me) agrees with what our government may be doing in the middle east, but i sure as hell don't blame my fellow citizens for it. they risk their lives as well as pay the taxes to support this absurd war, and they're victims of this war just as much as the next man
you don't have to agree with what the government is doing in iraq, but at least support our troops"
Totally agree dude. I don't support the war at all -- In fact I hate it, but soldiers deserve our respect.
@moodswyng They weren't being self-righteous at all. Did they ask for a standing ovation? No. Did they get it? Yes. Did they humbly nod their thanks, shake hands offered and carry on in a humble manner? Yes. Was it made by the military? I don't think so. Should they be appreciated, and shown that? Yes. So, it is not at all self-righteous.

You Americans have serious problems if you think that this is a good commercial. I would't say anything against the soldiers, but to celebrate a war that has killed nearly half a million Iraqi people (for no reason at all except geo-strategic interests) in such a corny commercial is just unbelievable ignorant.. Sorry.
yes that's a good commercial. And please dont say bad things about soldiers...You can blame the governement but not the soldiers, they dont have the choice and they do their best to serve and defend their country
well, thanks to all supporting the troops! i loved this video, first time i watched it, i got a tear in my eye. great commercial, i would love to see it actually on t.v.
It's stupid shit. Thank you for war and killing people 10000 miles away and let me live in decadence - this says this vid. Why didn't they show the soldiers who came back with only one arm ore without legs. I think any commercial for armee, soldiers and war is freaky bullshit. Behind this are faty Lobbys who earn money in an unbelievable amount - with other lifes!
This is a wonderful commercial. I sent it to my son who is in Iraq at this time. I hope he gets a reception like this, he and those with him deserve no less.

omfg i hate all you ppl who attack your own fellow citizens who risk their asses every day just to keep your bitter, ungrateful asses nice and safe. the only difference is, there's a backbone attached to theirs. why do you persist in criticising those who are just doing their jobs and showing a little patriotism at the same time?
I still liked the commercial no matter what anyone else thinks. Besides, most negative comments are from people who have no idea about the soldiers deployed.
Well, I liked the commercial quite a lot... until the end. I mean, I know it had to be made by some company, but it just seemed manipulative more than genuine when they flashed their name at the end >.>
Good VIDEO; I think silence is better than crazy clapping hands.
especialy after listing to combat fire and IEDs for 16 months. thanks for muting that gawd awfoul noise!

@TheFadedFate I wasn't talking about the soldiers. I was referring to the producers of this video.
