Yeshua obviously was a jew He was fully human and fully God and He wants to bring hope and life into your life He died for the sins of Israel according to Isaiah 53 and rose from the dead He said i am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by me...He came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel and He wants to give you the gift of eternal life which is knowing Him and the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob..may you find the truth and not allow others to stand in the way
@lestereliezer How on earth do u know his? ur just repeating Xtian teachings. According to Judaism, u are misinterpreting Isaiah 53. The concept of "J", Xtians worshipping this man g-d is Blasphemy & idolatry. Xtianities non-observance of the 613 laws of Judaism, shows a distorted attempt to create a seperate religion with wrong conclusions.
@lestereliezer If Jesus is the Messiah, then why is the world still so terrible? Why is there war, and death, and crime, and hate? And why did he get to be the Messiah without fulfilling ANY prophecies, what makes him so special. I don't think G-d would limit himself down to a human to get His word out, I believe he would do so in a another way. Jews for Jesus contradict every religious aspect of Judaism. You cannot be both religions in one.
I bet these Ultra religious fanatic Jews if they get involved in a car crash on a holly day, do not go to the hospital until the next business day right? if it's a sin to work on a holly day so is making someone else work, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ISRAEL GETTING CAUGHT IN THE NAP ON YOM KIPPUR - Why did their God allow the arabs to attack then??
Honestly, I find this the most narrow-minded, blind religious belief, is like punishing a doctor for saving a patient's life on a Saturday or other holly-day just because you are not supposed to work on these days? or how about when the Arabs invaded during Yom Kippur? Jews actually believed that the God who helped at the red sea would not possibly allow Arabs to invade that day, so the army could take the day off, I think we need to review religious rules...
@VERGIS92 1. The IDF didn't take "a day off" on Yom Kippur 1973... Go read a history book.
2. Most of the population in Israel does not keep the Shabbat (=are working, driving etc. on Saturdays.)
3. "Heroof Nefesh" - ever heard of it? It's a religious law stating anytime human life are in any kind of danger – it is obligated to do anything that can be done in order to help, no matter if it's saturday or Yom Kippur or any other holy day.
@Jullyii as far as I know Jesus was arrested for 'working' on Saturday healing some patients from severe long time disabilities, Heroof Nefesh law must have been passed later on
Feeling that you are special or chosen/selected in God's eyes is a stupid thing to do, he did split the waters in the red sea to help you out, but then again the same God has helped others also, even muslims. Moreover punishing Jesus for working and performing miracles on Saturday, how stupid is that. The same God that split the waters allows for a holocaust to happen every 300 years, because Jews sin too much and forget this God and his son
@ernei1982 Judaism respects all monotheistic religions UNLESS they interfere in Judaism by trying to steal jews away or misinterpret & falsely quote the OT's sayings and intent. Each one of the translated bibles e.g. (kjv, Kings james), wrongly translates & misinterprets the Original Hebrew version of the Jewish O.T., & it's Jewish prophets and scriptures. So WAKE UP.
"The church has a lot of jewish blood on their hands." Zionism isn't exactly a paragon of racial equality either. "If you have a problem with messianic jews read your bible." I think these messianic jews (or should that be "there are no Arabs in Christ" Jews?) need to read the New Testament they're so fond of, compiled and canonised by - guess who? - Christians.
"Christian puts you in a box of a religion I don't belong to. I belong to the faith of Jesus the Christ." This is hardly the "reconciliation of the world" which St Paul spoke of in Romans 11. "Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since God is one" "There is neither Jew nor Greek ... for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise." The Ronens need to think more on Romans 14:10 and John 17:20-21.
unless you believe that jesus is God and He died for your sins you will spend eternity in the lake of fire....Jesus dosnt want this but if people continue to reject Him as the only way that is what will happen...muslims are blinded by the lies of the koran and have closed their minds to the truth...and yet the amazing thing is that many muslims are turning to Jesus as the way the truth and the life and finding that He as God in the flesh forgives their sins....the truth will win..
@lestereliezer Comparing man to G-d is blasphemy and saying man is G-d is blasphemy. Telling others they will burn in a Lake of Fire won't get you into heaven. It will land you right in purgatory. Jesus did nothing to prove to us he is the Messiah, and considering that hes been dead for over 2000 years, I don't think he''ll be able to. G-d would not change his mind and completely disregard everything he said the the Jews for 4000 years. Christianity has no REAL basis to its beliefs.
@lestereliezer Preaching hate telling people that if they don't the same way, they will brun for all eternity is a 100% COMPLETELY immoral way for people to think the way you do. You must persuade, not use fear to get people to think the same thing. That is fascism, and I can assure G-d is not a fascist. And based upon what I know, Jesus is not one either.
@lestereliezer all of you are brainwashed moslems christians and jews.why should i believe that a human being like jesus was god ? thats why more and more people are leaving religions in mass numbers.you can only convert people in africa or asia where people are suffering.in the western world people like me are sick and tired by your tales about hellfire that awaits everyone who dont believe jesus was god.thats why people like you will fail.we wont allow you to manipulate us again.
@666voltanaligern AHAHAH...I sense a strong European spirit, I know one, I;m another! We all should be FREE to believe or not believe. I do have a special place in my heart for Jesus, the Messiah, ad God. I hate fanatics, or people who wish to push their sour soup on others, because they need those "points" to get into heaven...lol...An heaven, that even after death we're still discriminated(women). Most people who have no religions, some are even kinder then others who have. Point taken!
@JesusChristisMuslim Whts stupid on that?im talking about reality here 'cause if God created man and the universe therefore religious belief should not betray humanity!
Stupidity is when you take life of many people just to go to heaven and do it in the name of God!
If this God tell me to crash plane on Twin tower I'd rather face the torment of hell than kill innocent people 'cause that"s not making sense at all. :"p
@JesusChristisMuslim DID JESUS crashed planes on the buildings, owned wives concubines and slaves, cast stones on women who commit adultery,cut-off the hands of a thief, commit sodomy,TERRORIZE?
IF HE DID kindly qoute it from Koran(since its ur specialty)
If u will not qoute it Christ is not a muslim!!!
STOP PROMOTING TERRORISM HERE!!!get a life!eat bacon!
The attitude to Jesus in Israel (majority secular country) is that he is an important figure in Jewish history, like a lot of other historical figures. It's interesting especially since we doing a lot archaelogy and especially since we discover dead sea scroll which shows a lot of the historical context
@Arielcohen1980 Both "organizations" do the same things; pretend that Judaism has something to do with "J", a joke, that's considered Idolatry & Blasphemy in Judaism. Rabbi Kaduri never prophesied anything about "J". Rather, his note was twisted into false meanings - this phony interpretation was then repeated by ignorant Xtians.
Please let everyone who comes that there are those of us who have being waiting for this for years, we have sent up prayers awaiting the time when HE would once again shine his grace on you his first great love. Your faith blesses me to see you praise his Sons name. I am celebrating with the Messianic Jews in prayer right now!
From one lie to another. The whole bible is just fake trash with stolen egyptain pagan gods. I as a pagan european count' care less about jesus. Because he is a discusting blood sacrifice of the jews.
In matter of fact Jews and Christians have been taking European holy pagan lands and forced christianity opun us. You will pay for that!!
@turbofritz2 You're an idiot, just everything you said here. I can only guess that you don't take yourself seriously. And have been taking? Sorry, but the taking ended a long time ago, have taken would be more appropriate. Paganism in Europe died with the conversion of the Lithuanians. So go, worship Thor... he's latest holy movie is out.
Christianity has no Rightfull place in Europe Christianity is a jewish religion based on the bible has nothing to do with european people. Only has to do with damn jewish people that i don't give a fuck about.
Paganism is not dead by far. Go to Iceland then most people are pagans and paganism is growing in europe again Back to the original believes
The bible is discusting and contains lots of blood sacrifice.
@naponroy he jews and jesus can be holy in jewland in israel.
Has no place in europe to intrude over our holy pagan land. Bible has no historical valdity since all of the charachters have been stolen from older egyptian paganism and only altered to serve the jewish agenda .. Adam and eve is stolen from the egyptian Geb and Nut. Jewish kain abel and set comes from egyptian Horus, Osiris and Set.
It's a jewish slave tool to keep you like idiots to obidiant shamefull self loating weaklings!
@naponroy Personaly i HATE christianity thow if i love my European Brothers.
Christianity has NO place in Europe. It's a fucking waste of good paper and ridiculous myths but they're stolen stolen from pagan egypt...
There is nothing truthfull in the bible- It's all lies it's some kind of fantasy story for jews that jews can tell their grandchildren about but has no validity.
The exodus story is wrong as well - Jews were never slaves. Jews were expelled from egypt.
32."Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew Chapter 10:32,33. If anyone believes in YESHUA will follow Him and His Word.
@Matthew1944 There is nothing wrong. The true believers of Christ believed Him as the Son of God. John 16:28. "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father." What Christ is saying here is that he existed along with the Father before being born. He is the only person who ever existed before conception. Jesus announced, "before Abraham was, I AM!" Jesus was the great I AM from before the beginning of time.
@abbeychan Jesus first followers believed to be a man - a "son of God" as all Jews believed they were sons of god. John is writing 60 years later after the story grew and a human male was transformed to a man-god by Paul's followers.
Christian brothers & sisters, peace be upon you, I invite you to read Noble Quran, download your PDF copy and read Chapter 19 titled "Mary" the authentic story of Jesus of History once walked the earth.
Do you know that the Bible confirms that Jesus was NOT crucified?
And confirms that Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel and called any other believer as a "Dog eating from the Children bread!"?
Come to Islam, the religion of Jesus, Moses, Muhammad & Abraham.
@extra222love Don't you know that your god is NOT the God of us, Christians. That your jesus in the quran is NOT the Jesus in the Bible. That the mary in your quran is NOT the Mary in the Bible. You limit your understanding of what Christianity is based on what u learned from your quran or the hadiths. Try to read the Bible for a change. And learn that Christians are under the New Covenant in Christ. The Scriptures came hundreds of years even before the birth of Muhammad.
@abbeychan And learn that Christians are under the New Covenant in Christ."
Interesting how there can be a new covenant when the first was eternal. You might be interested in knowing that the origin of the moslems was identical to the pagan based pauline christianity and that they split over the idea of the trinity which they could not accept.
@Matthew1944 The New Covenant is the fulfillment of the Old Covenant. Amazing, isn't it. There is now forgiveness of sins in Christ both for the Jews and the Gentiles. The Messianic Jews believe in the Redeemer. There's nothing identical between Islam and Christianity. We worship the Trinity. They don't. Our God is the God of love. Their god is NOT.
@abbeychan The ETERNAL covenant consisted of the Jews placing their faith in the one indivisible God who would reward them by protecting them as long as they remained faithful to him. It has nothing to do with Christians. Blood sacrifice isn't required for forgiveness of sins for Jews which were curtailed when the alter and temple were destroyed and were done only for inadvertant sins. For deliberate sins, one repaid the injured party and repented and prayed. That's all there is to it.
Better re-check your history, abbey. Pauline christianity got to the top of the heap largely by killing off opposing bodies of thought even within their own ranks. Messianic Jews are Christians in drag. Islam and christianity share more than does christianity and judaism.
@Matthew1944 Your rejection of the Messiah will not change what is written in the Scriptures. I pray that you may you come to the knowledge of the truth.
@abbeychan The messiah you embrace is not the man, Jesus, but IS the invented man-god of Paul. The man Jesus taught works and going on to eternal life through righteous living. Paul taught faith and grace - works lost its importance and indeed, with today's Pauline Christianity, many of its followers think that it is belief that will get them through and so you see many of them so intent on the afterlife, they fail miserably in this one. They belief in "Jesus" but don't follow his teachings.
@abbeychan "what is written in the scriptures" has been edited, interpolated and misinterpreted. Which scriptures would you suggest? The oldest known Bible to date, the "Sinai Bible" housed in the British Museum ,reveals 14,800 differences from today's Bible.
@Matthew1944 Am referring to the Old and New Testaments in the Bible. It is written: "The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God." - Hebrews 7:18-19. And that Hope is in Christ.
@abbeychan - And who wrote the letter to the Hebrews? Paul, the inventor of the god man. It was for this kind of preaching that Paul was hauled in by the apostles for heresy and why he eventually was called "the great liar".
@Matthew1944 Says who? It is not a surprise you would say that. Christ was opposed and was crucified. Servants are not greater than their Master. The Lord loves you anyway and the invitation to salvation is offered to everyone. It's really up to you.
@abbeychan Says who? The Ebionites writings are clear on it. They were his first followers and believed that Jesus was a man, a practicing Jew who had no interest in gentiles. The Christian man-god Jesus and the supernatural were invented thirty years later.
The Christian idea of the messiah is that Jesus was the blood sacrifice that saves everyone from his or her sin.
@abbeychan But who, EXACTLY died on that cross? If it was Jesus-the-god, then how can God die? If it was only Jesus-the-human, then all Christians have in the death of Jesus is a human sacrifice. And what, EXACTLY does God say about human sacrifice in the TaNaCH? In Deuteronomy, God calls Human sacrifice something that He hates, and an abomination to Him!:
@abbeychan Am referring to the Old and New Testaments in the Bible"
First of all, your OT is a mistranslated text and lacking the knowledge of Jewish thinking, you misinterpret it too. The NT is the text wherein Jesus, a man, became a man-god, courtesy of Paul and while the original text (which you call the OT) represents Judaism - the NT represents Christianity - two diametrically opposed religions and it is impossible to blend them.
@Matthew1944 What you are saying are not exactly new. You see diametrically opposed testaments while we see fulfillment of a covenant. You are still waiting for a Messiah while we are now awaiting His second coming. Christ introduced radical teachings and it is not a wonder that religious men at his time would write books contradicting him. The contradictory ideas in the writing of the Ebionites do not mean that the teachings of Christs were not true.
@abbeychan You see diametrically opposed testaments while we see fulfillment of a covenant
The covenant between the Jews and God was eternal and did not need fulfilling. If the Jews remained faithful to God, he would protect them.
There is no mention in any of the bible of a second coming. Jesus had nothing to do with radical teachings OR Christianity. The man-god Jesus was invented long after his death.
@abbeychan Exactly, two diametrically opposed religions. If the christians would leave the OT alone and not look for hidden meanings when there are none there and keep to their NT, there would be no problem. When the fundies decide they know better than the Jews the meanings of Jewish scriptures based on their edited OT, then we DO have a problem. The teachings of Jesus, the man, were fully within the confines of Judaism because he was a practicing Je and were those the Ebionites inherited.
There is no fulfillment of an ETERNAL COVENANT. If the Jews stay true to their one INDIVISIBLE GOD (I am the first, the last and besides me there are no other gods) he will consider Israel to be his firstborn son/ servant and will protect them. What kind of fulfillment are you expecting from that?
@Matthew1944 It was written that some of the followers will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (1 Tim. 4:1). That explains the Ebionites.
@abbeychan No, it refers to the followers of Paul. The Ebionites were the direct followers of Jesus.
Dat Kazav (Lying Religion, or Religion of Falseness) is a Hebrew term Ebionites use to describe Christianity that comes from the 'ish kazav (Lying Man, i.e., Liar) Paul of Tarsus.
@abbeychan Jesus followers at the Jerusalem temple (later called Ebionites) followed essentially Jewish teachings and believed that Jesus was the fully human messiah of prophecy Pauls followers, called Pauline Christians,, that of the Dat Kazav, the liar, are those who believe in a pagan man god and are the Christians of today.
@Matthew1944 You have stretched your argument to the point of saying the same thing over and over again. “What if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?”
(Romans 3:3) And I say: Blessings be upon the Messianic Jews! May the Lord strengthen their faith and protect them from the lies and unbelief of others.
Dat Kazav (Lying Religion, or Religion of Falseness) is a Hebrew term Ebionites use to describe Christianity that comes from the 'ish kazav (Lying Man, i.e., Liar) Paul of Tarsus.
@Matthew1944 You keep on parroting the lies handed to you by the enemies of the gospel. We, however, are bold witnesses to the power and authority of Christ as we have personal knowledge and relationship with the Almighty God. Deliverance, changed lives and answered prayers are manifestation of God's presence in His children. Come and let your thirst be quenched by the Living Water. Joy, contentment and peace (even in the midst of uncertainties) are yours if you put your trust in Christ.
@abbeychan You are "bold witnessess" to a pagan man god based on Roman mythology. You have no PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE of any thing but your own imagination.
@Matthew1944 Personal knowledge is achieved through personal adventures with the Lord in our own daily walk with Him. It is an experiential faith a scoffer does not have and does not understand. You may argue to the point of nausea but it has been well said that “the man with an experience is not at the mercy of a man with an argument”. Your argument does not amount to anything in the eyes of the Lord.
@abbeychan Personal knowledge is achieved through personal adventures "
Firstly, you don't speak for the Lord. Secondly, this personal knowledge or experience is not confined to Christianity and is experience by believers in all the various dieties, i.e. Allah, Buddha. The bottom line is your partner in this relationship seems to be imaginary in no different a way than children sometimes have imaginary friends.
@Matthew1944 You wish. Just because the God you THINK you serve is so distant to you He can't be personal with us. At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children (Matt. 11:25). And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 18:3). Unless u change ur heart & mind, the word is NEVER.
@abbeychan - You can get off the high horse any time, abb. You worship an invisible entity just as believers in any other religion worship invisible entities and none of you can prove that your entity is better than any other entity. It's pretty difficult to have a " personal relationship" with anything other than your own imagination because the invisible and the non-existant look an awful lot alike.
@Matthew1944 It is pretty difficult for YOU. Thank God the human mind is not the sole arbiter of the Truth. Why do you put God in a box? You dare limit what He can do. His ways are higher than yours. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8). Just because your mind couldn’t grasp the concept of the Trinity you think it’s not possible. Isn’t it the height of human arrogance? But that's the hardened heart of an obstinate person.
@abbeychan First of all, abb. Christianity doesn't own God although they like to think they do. There are many who believe in God who are not Christians and it's the same creator for all of mankind. You cherry pick from the OT which is a book that has nothing to do with Christians to start with. The trinity is a strictly Catholic church invention and depends on the pagan man-god of Paul's invention. The Hebrew bible on which your OT is loosely based has nothing to do with men-gods.
@Matthew1944 Is that your best response for Isaiah 5:8? Cherry-picking? Coming from someone who has a selective perception and biased views makes the response hypocritical. Pointing out the truth is not cherry-picking. The OT has verses that strongly suggest that there is more than one person in the Godhead: Psalm 110:1; Isaiah 6:8; Gen 1:26, Gen. 3:22 and Psalm 110:1. You may want to check each one since the reply box has not enough space.
@abbeychan Isaiah has nothing to do with Christians, abb. The god of the Jews is one and indivisible. Christians have a triune God and the two cannot be the same. The three headed god is a pagan concept.
@Matthew1944 That's what you think. And what you think doesn't matter in the eyes of God. God is not a "three-headed god"as you put it. Your lack of understanding of the Christian faith is evident. God has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are One. Scream if you may but that's the revelation. We serve the living God. Pray for understanding to see the truth in Isaiah 55:8 and ask God who He really is. Pray and ask Him.
@abbeychan I already know from the Jews from their book how to interpret Isaiah 55:8 and the Hebrew bible says nothing about a trinity, shown by the fact that in Judaism there is no concept of a man-god which is a strictly pagan invention.
@Matthew1944 God became flesh and dwelt among us. Not man who became god. Huge difference. So now the basis of your belief depends on the manner of interpretation taught to you by other people. Why don't you exercise your faith instead and pray for Divine guidance. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7)."
@Matthew1944 In addition let me share the following: Hebrews 1:8, God says to the Son: "Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom”. The teachings of the Trinity came from Christ not the Catholic Church. In John 10:30 Christ said: "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30).
@abbeychan Saying it over and over might make you think a bit abb. The people who knew and studied with Jesus called Paul "ish Kazav" the liar and his invented relilgion which you follow today in the form of Pauline Christianity as the "Dat Kazav". If you follow Paul, you follow what the Ebionites called the lying religion.
@abbeychan Not all ancient writings are believable"
Absolutely true, abb. Like the bible to start with: Celsus wrote:
"It is clear to me that the writings of the christians are a lie, and that your fables are not well-enough constructed to conceal this monstrous fiction:
@Matthew1944 Yes, just like the Ebionites and others like them. Clearly you have decided to side with the enemies of the Gospel. These were also humans capable of writing books.
@abbeychan The Ebionites were the direct followers of Jesus and the apostles and were discredited and wiped out by Paul's Dat Kazar, the pagan Pauline Christianity/
@Matthew1944 Are Jews now relying on the opinions of a pagan anti-Christian Greek philosopher to refute Christian beliefs? Are you relying on Celsus, the pagan, who also tried to discredit the Mosaic account of creation? Do you mean the account of creation is also a "fable"? Or do you just select which part of his work is favorable to you and discard which is not? Hostile writers against the Christian faith were not lacking even in the ancient world.
@Matthew1944 These ancient guys aren't infallible. Are Jews these days throwing out the creation account for evolution? What else from Genesis do you not believe? Or have you successfully compromised your theistic faith to make way for Darwin's theory (not at all proven)? You also don't get much miracles in your life I presume.
@abbeychan - Darwin's theory? Like the theory of gravity? In science, theory is not a guess. It's a conclusion reached on the basis of repeatable series of facts. If the theory of evolutio is "unproven", guess how microorganisms evolve to become antibiotic resistant and become flesh eating disease? Jews accept the "miracles" as allegory as do most Christians except for the fundies - The Christo-Taliban.
@Matthew1944 Let me update you. Darwin’s theory is a theory in crisis. Evolution from simple to complex is the basis of this theory. If you are at all knowledgeable about molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics you would know that there are living organisms whose complexity is irreducible. Besides the “link” where the theory’s credibility hinges is still missing. It is missing because it does not exist. The missing and the non-existent look an awful lot alike.
@abbeychan Darwins theory has nothing to do with how things began in spite of what the Way of the Master teaches you. Try abiogenesis. Evolution is accepted by all but the fundies who prefer the six day invisible entity that blew on dirt method.
@Matthew1944 Btw, you mentioned earlier the theory of gravity? Wow. You really need to be updated. It is a LAW and not a theory. Darwin's theory remains a theory. As molecular biology progresses, Darwin's theory becomes less and less probable.
@abbeychan ""We can use Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation to calculate how strong the gravitational pull is between the Earth and the object you dropped, which would let us calculate its acceleration as it falls, how long it will take to hit the ground, how fast it would be going at impact, how much energy it will take to pick it up again, etc.
@abbeychan While the law lets us calculate quite a bit about what happens, notice that it does not tell us anything about why it happens. That is what theories are for. In the language of science, the word "theory" is used to describe an explanation of why and how things happen. For gravity, we use Einstein's Theory of General Relativity to explain why things fall. "
@Matthew1944 Since you lifted it from somewhere you should have at least included a reference. Apparently, you don't need to be reminded as you're updated in things like these. But what is your point? Theories are only human attempts to explain natural phenomena we are currently aware of. But the entire universe has so much wonders that science can hardly explain.
@abbeychan You are the laziest damn thing I ever encountered. When I say something, you ask that I back it up. If I give you a quote then you want a link. If I give you a link, you don't bother even looking. Give it up, shithead. Look it up yourself.
@abbeychan wrote: "LOLs. Spoken like a true godless person. You're parents must be proud of you."
Well, aren't you the perfect one though? To not believe a pagan man-god fairy tale is hardly being godless or do you believe that christianity owns god?
@Matthew1944 There are even millions of unseen species that have yet to be discovered. Science is not at all definitive in so many areas. Science is merely catching up in terms of understanding what is already there. The world has an amazing design that demands the existence of a Creator. You can wait until science reveals its veracity, that is, if you have time to wait. But then the place and time to choose what to believe is here and now.
@abbeychan And that is the difference between science and religion. You have 2000 year old books written by primitives and YOU KNOW IT ALL. Science is willing to search and change if it needs to if it finds something new. Religion is a decrepid old myth that you hang on to and will never change from it's 2000 year old primitive roots.
@Matthew1944 You'll get the privilege of answering your question once you get there. You'll definitely be there on the Day of Reckoning when God's ultimate justice will be meted out. You cannot keep on rejecting God's love and remain unaccountable.
@abbeychan Compare what YOU wrote to: "You'll get the privilege of answering your question once you cross the River Styx. You'll definitely be there on the Day of Reckoning when Zeus' ultimate justice will be meted out. You cannot keep on rejecting Zeus' love and remain unaccountable."
@Matthew1944 Ouch whoa to your soul, Matthew.. If you really dislike Religion this strongly, maybe you should take a, well don't take this as an insult you shouldn't but pagan name. Matthew is quite Holy.. And I know you want to disavow yourself from such decripid, mythalogical and archatypal names.
I don't "dislike" religion. I'm pointing out that yours isn't the only one and it isn't any better or worse than any other - all it is, is one belief system among many. Christianity doesn't own God and one can believe in a creator without being a Christian. These threats of "Day of reckoning" are being thrown from within the confines of one particular belief and mean nothing to those outside of it.
On the contrary, Matthew is recognized as an Irish name. It is an anglicisation of the Irish name Mathúin, meaning bear. Matthew is also a given name that comes from the Hebrew name Matityahu. If you want it to be Holy, stick with the original.
@WhatAGreatLord Matthew1944 thinks that judgment does not apply to him because of his unbelief. Well, he'll be in for a great surprise. We as believers should continue to celebrate with the Messianic Jews. Hebrews 12:2-3 encourages us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith and to consider how Christ endured such opposition from sinners. Darkness has no knowledge of the light. Scoffers neither understand what they are doing nor what they are saying.
@abbeychan 2) have even heard that some of your interpreters, as if they had just come out of a tavern, are onto the inconsistencies and, pen in hand, alter the originals writings, three, four and several more times over in order to be able to deny the contradictions in the face of criticism."
It happens that the beliefs of the Ebionites are preserved only in the criticisms of the church fathers and that gives them even more credibility..
@Matthew1944 How can you be so easily swayed by intrigues sowed by those hostile to the faith? You don't judge simply because of what was said or what was written by others. If you really believe in God come before Him and ask Him in faith for the Truth. No amount of argument will satisfy your closed mind unless you humble yourself and ask God directly if He really exist in the first place. Ask Him to reveal the Truth to you. Ask if Christ is indeed the Messiah. Seek Truth with all your heart.
@abbeychan How can you be so easily swayed by intrigues sowed by those hostile to the faith?"
Easy, they make more sense. "You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, burning bushes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say we are the ones that need help?" -- Mark Twain
@Matthew1944 You have more faith in what Mark Twain said rather than going down on your knees and ask God for the Truth in faith. The supernatural is beyond your senses. I now doubt if you believe in God after all.
@Matthew1944 God is supernatural. No wonder you confine the concept of God solely between your ears. Mark Twain is no more. God is forevermore. The reason why you have no idea who He is is because you are not His. Well I thought others believe that the belief in the supernatural is the attempt of the unimaginative to explain things he does not understand. The imaginative person explores. Being unimaginative, you comfortably dismiss things you don't understand.
@abbeychan The imaginative person explores. Being unimaginative, you comfortably dismiss things you don't understand."
God may very well be forevermore but I doubt that he/it favors any religion that we invent and Christianity most certainly doesn't own "him". Remember that the invisible and the non-existant look an awful lot alike.
@Matthew1944 Thank you for the opportunity you gave me to share these verses to you and to others as well. May the Spirit of God continue to work on you and help you escape the deception and lies of Satan. Truth be told that we love Israel and the Jewish people. That is clearly taught to us in the Bible. We continue to pray for the peace and protection of Israel and its people.
@abbeychan It was written that some of the followers will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (1 Tim. 4:1). That explains the Ebionites.
Not at all. Try Paul and the pagan man-god,virgin birth and resurrection, human sacrifice for atonement - all straight out of Roman mythology and that is the Pauline christianity of today.
@abbeychan It was written that some of the followers will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (1 Tim. 4:1). That explains the Ebionites.
Not when you consider it from the Jewish point of view - the point of view of Jesus followers. It applies, however to Pauls pagan based doctrine of a man-god.
@ClaraClang It is not a matter of disliking Christians. It is not a matter of loving one another.
The problem is rooting out dishonesty. So Called "Messianic Jews" are perpetrating a lie. They are claiming they have not left Judaism when they converted to Christianity. To build up religion based on lies is disrespecting, Christianity, Judaism, and the G*D they both hold as their own.
@nektorhond You do know that Muslims believe in Jesus and venerate Mary, Right? They always have.
Now in my version of Christianity, I am reminded of the words of Christ who tells me," How can you claim to lover the father who you have never seen, and hate your brother whom you see daily?" Did you know that many palestinians were christian before the Israeli hardliners showed up? Did you know that those who are still christen are treated like dogs anyway?
@rosey312 i know muslims accept Jesus but not as the SON of GOD but as a prophet like mohammed. and thats why christians say God is triadic. because Jesus was Part of GOD. therefore, GOD 's human form or SON, or PART of GOD. people cannot see GOD himself and Jesus came to make us understand GOD in a human form
@nektorhond Fortunately Judaism is waking up to the threat of the Messianics. Like all of Born Againism it is a false self Idolatrous religion. Judaism and Islam both hold to a belief in One God whereas Christianity believes Jesus is a God.
@kitiowa u are totally inacurate and false stupid bitch. first know what u are talking about and then spread shit from your fking mouth. Jesus is PART of GOD. the SON of GOD. and this is the TRUTH whether u like it or not.
When a child reads the history and the roots of the family of Jesus Yeshua, they learns that santa claus is not for real, they took a step foward to the way to heaven ,you make your own decision,my LORD SAYS, ''That is what you have in your heart is what makes what you are..and what you choose to believe....He just want salvation for all...His people,God's children in the world..to be in peace and love, may our planet population never be destroy..
Hi,may OUR GOD OF PEACE AND LOVE BE WITH YOU ALL..YESHUA OUR SAVIOR,FOREVER MORE,LONG LIVE THE KING!GOD BLESS ALL,WHO LOVES PEACE AND ISRAEL!!GOD hates what is evil...i love Yeshua,Jesus,i love, love; )
look, convincing a jew that jesus is god is like convincing them that santa claus is for real. Most religious jews may see this as provocation, an insult to their intelligence. Ya'll christians try to act all peaceful, but you;re provoking hostility.
Please pray for the orthodox jews. They are blind and fearful and scared to even consider the possibility of Jesus being God and the saviour. When god startes moving on mass amongst the orthodox in Israel i believe that we will see wonderful things.Yeshua, open their eyes!
Praise The Lord, The Saviour of the World, the Jewish Believers are the Salt and Light of the World. The Spirit of the Living God is in them, their joys are real, their prayers are authentic, they worship Him in peace, I also want to dance with their singing, too. Don't let anyone bullying you! I pray for Israel for Believers and Nonbelievers. The Lord wants us to find Salvation in Him, to rest in Him, and to peace have in Him. You are the budding Olive brunch in Israel.

*Its HERESY to equate God to creation as H2o *Trinity is man-made/has NO basis in Scripture *God is ONE [Exod20:3, Mrk12:29, Quran2:163] *God is NOT man/son of [Num23:19] and NEVER seen [Exod33:20] *Christ is created by a Word of God just as Adam or Universe "Let there BE..." [Gen ch1,2] *God does NOT need blood sacrifice [Hos6:6] *you are NOT born with original sin [Ezek18:20] *Salvation is: Surrender to God [ISLAM] and His MERCY.

Xtianities non-observance of the 613 laws of Judaism, shows a distorted attempt to create a seperate religion with wrong conclusions.
onthemoney90 1 month ago

VERGIS92 1 month ago
Honestly, I find this the most narrow-minded, blind religious belief, is like punishing a doctor for saving a patient's life on a Saturday or other holly-day just because you are not supposed to work on these days? or how about when the Arabs invaded during Yom Kippur? Jews actually believed that the God who helped at the red sea would not possibly allow Arabs to invade that day, so the army could take the day off, I think we need to review religious rules...
VERGIS92 1 month ago
@VERGIS92 1. The IDF didn't take "a day off" on Yom Kippur 1973... Go read a history book.
2. Most of the population in Israel does not keep the Shabbat (=are working, driving etc. on Saturdays.)
3. "Heroof Nefesh" - ever heard of it? It's a religious law stating anytime human life are in any kind of danger – it is obligated to do anything that can be done in order to help, no matter if it's saturday or Yom Kippur or any other holy day.
Jullyii 1 month ago
@Jullyii as far as I know Jesus was arrested for 'working' on Saturday healing some patients from severe long time disabilities, Heroof Nefesh law must have been passed later on
VERGIS92 1 month ago

KuwaitF22 3 weeks ago
@lestereliezer Preaching hate telling people that if they don't the same way, they will brun for all eternity is a 100% COMPLETELY immoral way for people to think the way you do. You must persuade, not use fear to get people to think the same thing. That is fascism, and I can assure G-d is not a fascist. And based upon what I know, Jesus is not one either.

"What is so wrong about Jews believing in Jesus? The first followers of Jesus or Yeshua were Jews"
That's right and they believed him be a man - not a god.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 There is nothing wrong. The true believers of Christ believed Him as the Son of God. John 16:28. "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father." What Christ is saying here is that he existed along with the Father before being born. He is the only person who ever existed before conception. Jesus announced, "before Abraham was, I AM!" Jesus was the great I AM from before the beginning of time.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Jesus first followers believed to be a man - a "son of God" as all Jews believed they were sons of god. John is writing 60 years later after the story grew and a human male was transformed to a man-god by Paul's followers.

And confirms that Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel and called any other believer as a "Dog eating from the Children bread!"?
Come to Islam, the religion of Jesus, Moses, Muhammad & Abraham.
The Monotheism.

extra222love 5 months ago
@extra222love Don't you know that your god is NOT the God of us, Christians. That your jesus in the quran is NOT the Jesus in the Bible. That the mary in your quran is NOT the Mary in the Bible. You limit your understanding of what Christianity is based on what u learned from your quran or the hadiths. Try to read the Bible for a change. And learn that Christians are under the New Covenant in Christ. The Scriptures came hundreds of years even before the birth of Muhammad.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan And learn that Christians are under the New Covenant in Christ."
Interesting how there can be a new covenant when the first was eternal. You might be interested in knowing that the origin of the moslems was identical to the pagan based pauline christianity and that they split over the idea of the trinity which they could not accept.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 The New Covenant is the fulfillment of the Old Covenant. Amazing, isn't it. There is now forgiveness of sins in Christ both for the Jews and the Gentiles. The Messianic Jews believe in the Redeemer. There's nothing identical between Islam and Christianity. We worship the Trinity. They don't. Our God is the God of love. Their god is NOT.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan The ETERNAL covenant consisted of the Jews placing their faith in the one indivisible God who would reward them by protecting them as long as they remained faithful to him. It has nothing to do with Christians. Blood sacrifice isn't required for forgiveness of sins for Jews which were curtailed when the alter and temple were destroyed and were done only for inadvertant sins. For deliberate sins, one repaid the injured party and repented and prayed. That's all there is to it.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan Our God is the God of love"
Better re-check your history, abbey. Pauline christianity got to the top of the heap largely by killing off opposing bodies of thought even within their own ranks. Messianic Jews are Christians in drag. Islam and christianity share more than does christianity and judaism.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Your rejection of the Messiah will not change what is written in the Scriptures. I pray that you may you come to the knowledge of the truth.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan The messiah you embrace is not the man, Jesus, but IS the invented man-god of Paul. The man Jesus taught works and going on to eternal life through righteous living. Paul taught faith and grace - works lost its importance and indeed, with today's Pauline Christianity, many of its followers think that it is belief that will get them through and so you see many of them so intent on the afterlife, they fail miserably in this one. They belief in "Jesus" but don't follow his teachings.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan "what is written in the scriptures" has been edited, interpolated and misinterpreted. Which scriptures would you suggest? The oldest known Bible to date, the "Sinai Bible" housed in the British Museum ,reveals 14,800 differences from today's Bible.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Am referring to the Old and New Testaments in the Bible. It is written: "The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God." - Hebrews 7:18-19. And that Hope is in Christ.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan - And who wrote the letter to the Hebrews? Paul, the inventor of the god man. It was for this kind of preaching that Paul was hauled in by the apostles for heresy and why he eventually was called "the great liar".
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Says who? It is not a surprise you would say that. Christ was opposed and was crucified. Servants are not greater than their Master. The Lord loves you anyway and the invitation to salvation is offered to everyone. It's really up to you.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Says who? The Ebionites writings are clear on it. They were his first followers and believed that Jesus was a man, a practicing Jew who had no interest in gentiles. The Christian man-god Jesus and the supernatural were invented thirty years later.
The Christian idea of the messiah is that Jesus was the blood sacrifice that saves everyone from his or her sin.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan But who, EXACTLY died on that cross? If it was Jesus-the-god, then how can God die? If it was only Jesus-the-human, then all Christians have in the death of Jesus is a human sacrifice. And what, EXACTLY does God say about human sacrifice in the TaNaCH? In Deuteronomy, God calls Human sacrifice something that He hates, and an abomination to Him!:
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan Am referring to the Old and New Testaments in the Bible"
First of all, your OT is a mistranslated text and lacking the knowledge of Jewish thinking, you misinterpret it too. The NT is the text wherein Jesus, a man, became a man-god, courtesy of Paul and while the original text (which you call the OT) represents Judaism - the NT represents Christianity - two diametrically opposed religions and it is impossible to blend them.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 What you are saying are not exactly new. You see diametrically opposed testaments while we see fulfillment of a covenant. You are still waiting for a Messiah while we are now awaiting His second coming. Christ introduced radical teachings and it is not a wonder that religious men at his time would write books contradicting him. The contradictory ideas in the writing of the Ebionites do not mean that the teachings of Christs were not true.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan You see diametrically opposed testaments while we see fulfillment of a covenant
The covenant between the Jews and God was eternal and did not need fulfilling. If the Jews remained faithful to God, he would protect them.
There is no mention in any of the bible of a second coming. Jesus had nothing to do with radical teachings OR Christianity. The man-god Jesus was invented long after his death.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan Exactly, two diametrically opposed religions. If the christians would leave the OT alone and not look for hidden meanings when there are none there and keep to their NT, there would be no problem. When the fundies decide they know better than the Jews the meanings of Jewish scriptures based on their edited OT, then we DO have a problem. The teachings of Jesus, the man, were fully within the confines of Judaism because he was a practicing Je and were those the Ebionites inherited.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan fulfillment of a covenant"
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 It was written that some of the followers will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (1 Tim. 4:1). That explains the Ebionites.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan No, it refers to the followers of Paul. The Ebionites were the direct followers of Jesus.

abbeychan 5 months ago

You may argue to the point of nausea but it has been well said that “the man with an experience is not at the mercy of a man with an argument”. Your argument does not amount to anything in the eyes of the Lord.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Personal knowledge is achieved through personal adventures "
Firstly, you don't speak for the Lord. Secondly, this personal knowledge or experience is not confined to Christianity and is experience by believers in all the various dieties, i.e. Allah, Buddha. The bottom line is your partner in this relationship seems to be imaginary in no different a way than children sometimes have imaginary friends.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 You wish. Just because the God you THINK you serve is so distant to you He can't be personal with us. At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children (Matt. 11:25). And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 18:3). Unless u change ur heart & mind, the word is NEVER.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan - You can get off the high horse any time, abb. You worship an invisible entity just as believers in any other religion worship invisible entities and none of you can prove that your entity is better than any other entity. It's pretty difficult to have a " personal relationship" with anything other than your own imagination because the invisible and the non-existant look an awful lot alike.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 It is pretty difficult for YOU. Thank God the human mind is not the sole arbiter of the Truth. Why do you put God in a box? You dare limit what He can do. His ways are higher than yours. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8). Just because your mind couldn’t grasp the concept of the Trinity you think it’s not possible. Isn’t it the height of human arrogance? But that's the hardened heart of an obstinate person.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan First of all, abb. Christianity doesn't own God although they like to think they do. There are many who believe in God who are not Christians and it's the same creator for all of mankind. You cherry pick from the OT which is a book that has nothing to do with Christians to start with. The trinity is a strictly Catholic church invention and depends on the pagan man-god of Paul's invention. The Hebrew bible on which your OT is loosely based has nothing to do with men-gods.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Is that your best response for Isaiah 5:8? Cherry-picking? Coming from someone who has a selective perception and biased views makes the response hypocritical. Pointing out the truth is not cherry-picking. The OT has verses that strongly suggest that there is more than one person in the Godhead: Psalm 110:1; Isaiah 6:8; Gen 1:26, Gen. 3:22 and Psalm 110:1. You may want to check each one since the reply box has not enough space.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Not one of them if you understand Jewish thinking.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Is God limited within the confines of Jewish thinking? Better check Isaiah 55:8 again. May God enlighten you.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Isaiah has nothing to do with Christians, abb. The god of the Jews is one and indivisible. Christians have a triune God and the two cannot be the same. The three headed god is a pagan concept.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 That's what you think. And what you think doesn't matter in the eyes of God. God is not a "three-headed god"as you put it. Your lack of understanding of the Christian faith is evident. God has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are One. Scream if you may but that's the revelation. We serve the living God. Pray for understanding to see the truth in Isaiah 55:8 and ask God who He really is. Pray and ask Him.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan I already know from the Jews from their book how to interpret Isaiah 55:8 and the Hebrew bible says nothing about a trinity, shown by the fact that in Judaism there is no concept of a man-god which is a strictly pagan invention.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 God became flesh and dwelt among us. Not man who became god. Huge difference. So now the basis of your belief depends on the manner of interpretation taught to you by other people. Why don't you exercise your faith instead and pray for Divine guidance. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7)."
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan God became flesh and dwelt among us"
Only in pagan belief which is what Christianity is based on.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 In addition let me share the following: Hebrews 1:8, God says to the Son: "Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom”. The teachings of the Trinity came from Christ not the Catholic Church. In John 10:30 Christ said: "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30).
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan And WHO wrote Hebrews 40 years after the event? ish Kazav - the spinner of the tale.
John wrote 60 years later and is passing along legend.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Saying it over and over again does not make it true. May you be free of this mind-numbing “ish Kazav” chants.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Saying it over and over might make you think a bit abb. The people who knew and studied with Jesus called Paul "ish Kazav" the liar and his invented relilgion which you follow today in the form of Pauline Christianity as the "Dat Kazav". If you follow Paul, you follow what the Ebionites called the lying religion.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Not all ancient writings are believable. Maybe you need the chant more than we do. The more you say it the more you think its true.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Not all ancient writings are believable"
Absolutely true, abb. Like the bible to start with: Celsus wrote:
"It is clear to me that the writings of the christians are a lie, and that your fables are not well-enough constructed to conceal this monstrous fiction:
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Yes, just like the Ebionites and others like them. Clearly you have decided to side with the enemies of the Gospel. These were also humans capable of writing books.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan The Ebionites were the direct followers of Jesus and the apostles and were discredited and wiped out by Paul's Dat Kazar, the pagan Pauline Christianity/
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Are Jews now relying on the opinions of a pagan anti-Christian Greek philosopher to refute Christian beliefs? Are you relying on Celsus, the pagan, who also tried to discredit the Mosaic account of creation? Do you mean the account of creation is also a "fable"? Or do you just select which part of his work is favorable to you and discard which is not? Hostile writers against the Christian faith were not lacking even in the ancient world.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan
Ammonius Saccas (175-240 AD): the teacher of Origen, maintained that Christianity and Paganism differed on no essential points.
Which account of the creation? There are two contradicting versions. Yes the creation account, like the other miracles are fables.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 These ancient guys aren't infallible. Are Jews these days throwing out the creation account for evolution? What else from Genesis do you not believe? Or have you successfully compromised your theistic faith to make way for Darwin's theory (not at all proven)? You also don't get much miracles in your life I presume.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan - Darwin's theory? Like the theory of gravity? In science, theory is not a guess. It's a conclusion reached on the basis of repeatable series of facts. If the theory of evolutio is "unproven", guess how microorganisms evolve to become antibiotic resistant and become flesh eating disease? Jews accept the "miracles" as allegory as do most Christians except for the fundies - The Christo-Taliban.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Let me update you. Darwin’s theory is a theory in crisis. Evolution from simple to complex is the basis of this theory. If you are at all knowledgeable about molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics you would know that there are living organisms whose complexity is irreducible. Besides the “link” where the theory’s credibility hinges is still missing. It is missing because it does not exist. The missing and the non-existent look an awful lot alike.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan Darwins theory has nothing to do with how things began in spite of what the Way of the Master teaches you. Try abiogenesis. Evolution is accepted by all but the fundies who prefer the six day invisible entity that blew on dirt method.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Btw, you mentioned earlier the theory of gravity? Wow. You really need to be updated. It is a LAW and not a theory. Darwin's theory remains a theory. As molecular biology progresses, Darwin's theory becomes less and less probable.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan ""We can use Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation to calculate how strong the gravitational pull is between the Earth and the object you dropped, which would let us calculate its acceleration as it falls, how long it will take to hit the ground, how fast it would be going at impact, how much energy it will take to pick it up again, etc.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@abbeychan While the law lets us calculate quite a bit about what happens, notice that it does not tell us anything about why it happens. That is what theories are for. In the language of science, the word "theory" is used to describe an explanation of why and how things happen. For gravity, we use Einstein's Theory of General Relativity to explain why things fall. "
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 You "lifted" your response from somewhere? You even managed to paste the quotation marks.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan I always place quotation marks around something I've taken from another source. You seem to be the one who needs updating.
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 Since you lifted it from somewhere you should have at least included a reference. Apparently, you don't need to be reminded as you're updated in things like these. But what is your point? Theories are only human attempts to explain natural phenomena we are currently aware of. But the entire universe has so much wonders that science can hardly explain.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan You are the laziest damn thing I ever encountered. When I say something, you ask that I back it up. If I give you a quote then you want a link. If I give you a link, you don't bother even looking. Give it up, shithead. Look it up yourself.

But then the place and time to choose what to believe is here and now.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan And that is the difference between science and religion. You have 2000 year old books written by primitives and YOU KNOW IT ALL. Science is willing to search and change if it needs to if it finds something new. Religion is a decrepid old myth that you hang on to and will never change from it's 2000 year old primitive roots.

Just two pagan tales.

WhatAGreatLord 4 months ago
@WhatAGreatLord " If you really dislike Religion "

@WhatAGreatLord "maybe you should take a, well don't take this as an insult you shouldn't but pagan name. "
What?
Matthew1944 4 months ago
@WhatAGreatLord Matthew1944 thinks that judgment does not apply to him because of his unbelief. Well, he'll be in for a great surprise. We as believers should continue to celebrate with the Messianic Jews. Hebrews 12:2-3 encourages us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith and to consider how Christ endured such opposition from sinners. Darkness has no knowledge of the light. Scoffers neither understand what they are doing nor what they are saying.
abbeychan 4 months ago
@abbeychan 2) have even heard that some of your interpreters, as if they had just come out of a tavern, are onto the inconsistencies and, pen in hand, alter the originals writings, three, four and several more times over in order to be able to deny the contradictions in the face of criticism."
It happens that the beliefs of the Ebionites are preserved only in the criticisms of the church fathers and that gives them even more credibility..
Matthew1944 5 months ago
@Matthew1944 How can you be so easily swayed by intrigues sowed by those hostile to the faith? You don't judge simply because of what was said or what was written by others. If you really believe in God come before Him and ask Him in faith for the Truth. No amount of argument will satisfy your closed mind unless you humble yourself and ask God directly if He really exist in the first place. Ask Him to reveal the Truth to you. Ask if Christ is indeed the Messiah. Seek Truth with all your heart.
abbeychan 5 months ago
@abbeychan How can you be so easily swayed by intrigues sowed by those hostile to the faith?"
Easy, they make more sense. "You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, burning bushes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say we are the ones that need help?" -- Mark Twain
Matthew1944 5 months ago

God may very well be forevermore but I doubt that he/it favors any religion that we invent and Christianity most certainly doesn't own "him". Remember that the invisible and the non-existant look an awful lot alike.

Not at all. Try Paul and the pagan man-god,virgin birth and resurrection, human sacrifice for atonement - all straight out of Roman mythology and that is the Pauline christianity of today.

Not when you consider it from the Jewish point of view - the point of view of Jesus followers. It applies, however to Pauls pagan based doctrine of a man-god.

The problem is rooting out dishonesty. So Called "Messianic Jews" are perpetrating a lie. They are claiming they have not left Judaism when they converted to Christianity. To build up religion based on lies is disrespecting, Christianity, Judaism, and the G*D they both hold as their own.
