You never do seem to address the fact that there are billions of people on this planet of which millions are fairly well educated. Heck, take for example that most high schools across America and other developed countries have a science department.

Just focus in the cause of these protest: In REAL democratic elections the count of votes is made in an open way: with observers from all the parties that can VERIFY there is no cheating and the election is REALLY FAIR. In this case, the count has been made in the Interior Ministry (Ruled by the current president) without any observer from any party (but the president, of course). It makes you doubt a lot, uh?

The middle east and the muslim world should respond first. Then, if they ask for America's help, then we should get involved. We dont want to be accused of interfering, even though the situation seems really bad.

I was SO against the Iraq war. I'm against war in general... but if there was EVER a time America should get involved its now. These people need our help, and we could get the Iranians to appreciate and like America and have a strong middle east bond and ally if we just help them out. We hate their current government anyway, and instead of Iran where we saw huge protests, the people of Iran would really admire us.

I was a soldier when I was younger and I would be proud to fight with any of those students. they are so brave! Even when the most of evil of the mullahs police brigades come out with clubs and rifles, the students fight onward. I never knew much about the Persian people before, but now I have learned and I bestow upon them great honor and respect and offer best wishes
