Thanks for the inspiration - I've just modded my Pocket POD and a Digitech FS3X. I used a USB port instead of PS/2 because my local stores just don't sell PS/2 anymore!
Hi, is there something wrong with your website? It just shows the classical windows fail message and "try to refresh the page" but it doesnt work. Please answer i really want to make that cool footswitch you have :D
I've been away from home recording in years now. I can't believe the tone you get from that pocketpod. I'll be picking one up in a week or two. God I'm so looking forward to it :)
I've been mostly recording with amplitube and such. Was quite succesful with that software. But this sounds totally amazing.
Hi! It`s 2:48 AM here in Brazil, and I have finished my mod using your schematics... It work`s just the way you discrible in your website! I have use a female USB and place it on the back of the Pocket; for the cable, I have used a male usb that goes on the Pod, and 2 P10 that goes in to a Behringer AB200. THANK`S A LOT!!!
@metalpride15 hehehe once you try (hear) hand-wound pickups it's hard to go back! I use Bare knuckle pickups they are hand made in UK. That guitar has the black dog bridge and the mule neck, they are vintage/modern sounding. Check their website: bareknucklepickups.co.uk
where did you find the female ps2 connector actually i want to make a footswitch with exactly the same buttons with yours. i saw the instructions on you website but i have some questions i don't know from where to buy the female ps2 connector and the momentary footswitches. i don't know in what kind shop i must go. please contact me at sz4ever@hotmail.com or send me a message here in youtube
@joekataldo i looked at ur instructions. the ps/2 connector is only necessary if i want to disconnect the footswitch from the pod right? i don't really need it if i am willing to make the pod and the footswitch one piece.
@joekataldo ok sorry bother you with another question, last one i promise. but when you solder, did u first desolder the pins and then resolder with the wire?
can you please tell me where you got your panel mount ps/2 female connector? and if i am doing a 2 pedal version with just up and down, no tap/tuner, and i am using the blue wire as the ground, the orange as up, and the green as down, can u please explain what wires go to what switch in what order? i cannot tell from the pictures i have seen. thank you, if u help me out you will earn a new subscriber :)
I've done this mod to my Pocket Pod with two momentery open switchs and a small project box. I checked out your guide and your arrow numbers are off. I can confirm this with mine and also some on the French forums. The pin asignments are as follows:
@TheMadMusicMan sure it is, I had some hacking on my website right after I published it and I didn't had a copy of the tutorial, looks like I made a mistake when I retyped it, thanks for let me know, I already fixed it.
@onesteptonowhere my website has been hacked, and I had to delete everything from the server to be secure again, I'm uploading a new version right now, the guide should be up in a couple of hours
Could you share your settings??

wonder if u could make a rocking pedal for wah etc?.. The software sounds awesome when u play with the wah knob but no way to do it playing live.
Dyson4444 11 months ago
@Dyson4444 Actually you can, via midi trough the software Vyzex (you need a computer)
joekataldo 11 months ago
@joekataldo So there is a rocking (rocking back and forth) pedal available that just sends midi signals? so u can use it as a wah thru the pod?

anyway to do this by making a footswitch that connects to the mini usb instead?
VuTang01 1 year ago
@VuTang01 it's probably not impossible, but a completely different mode, because the pocket pod has no midi.
