  • Sorry, that should be imageshack.us/g/10/130120121092.jpg/

  • Pics of my mods are at imageshack.us/g/217/130120121095.jpg/

  • Thanks for the inspiration - I've just modded my Pocket POD and a Digitech FS3X. I used a USB port instead of PS/2 because my local stores just don't sell PS/2 anymore!

  • Hi! Great job there. Have you thought about using built-in USB port instead?

  • this almost sounds like a mix between foo fighters and buckethead

  • Incredible job!

  • Hi, is there something wrong with your website? It just shows the classical windows fail message and "try to refresh the page" but it doesnt work. Please answer i really want to make that cool footswitch you have :D

  • @Multiarsenal90 Works for me, sorry about that.

  • Mayones the best :D ! Polskie cudo :P

  • Thanks! It's exactly what I've been looking for. Now I need someone to do this to me! Thanks for the help.

  • I've been away from home recording in years now. I can't believe the tone you get from that pocketpod. I'll be picking one up in a week or two. God I'm so looking forward to it :)

I've been mostly recording with amplitube and such. Was quite succesful with that software. But this sounds totally amazing.

  • hi bro!! could you give me a tip for make a delay preset with mesa boogie you use?

  • How do you get this warm tone??? Out of he guitar, I mean.

  • Can you activate the tuner with the tap footswitch?

  • @MrMnM14 YES!

  • wow!!! the tone you're getting from this thing is surreal!!! bravo!!

  • @glassprisoner417 Thanks!

  • can you send me the tone you used for lead (mesa lead) ?

  • Hi! It`s 2:48 AM here in Brazil, and I have finished my mod using your schematics... It work`s just the way you discrible in your website! I have use a female USB and place it on the back of the Pocket; for the cable, I have used a male usb that goes on the Pod, and 2 P10 that goes in to a Behringer AB200. THANK`S A LOT!!!

  • @wouwou83 glad to help! this mod really makes the POD more versatile for live playing.

  • U fucking wizard!

  • Hey, thanks a lot for your tutorial on how to do the mod. I did that to my Pocket Pod and it works :) .

  • @123fokus Yeah!

  • wonder if u could make a rocking pedal for wah etc?.. The software sounds awesome when u play with the wah knob but no way to do it playing live.

  • @Dyson4444 Actually you can, via midi trough the software Vyzex (you need a computer)

  • @joekataldo So there is a rocking (rocking back and forth) pedal available that just sends midi signals? so u can use it as a wah thru the pod?

  • @metalpride15 hehehe once you try (hear) hand-wound pickups it's hard to go back! I use Bare knuckle pickups they are hand made in UK. That guitar has the black dog bridge and the mule neck, they are vintage/modern sounding. Check their website: bareknucklepickups.co.uk

  • Those pickups, dude, nice!

  • That was great dude! Awesome! I like the sound too, would you mind telling us the preset used to play it?

  • Hi there! Great Idea, and very helpful! Does the buttons still work after the mod? Or the pocket will work only with the footswitch?

  • @lapbarbosa Yes They Will work normally.

  • ths is so damn nice just what i need

  • great vid, great website...

  • @SalazarK33 Thanks!

  • anyway to do this by making a footswitch that connects to the mini usb instead?

  • @VuTang01 it's probably not impossible, but a completely different mode, because the pocket pod has no midi.

  • @joekataldo i looked at ur instructions. the ps/2 connector is only necessary if i want to disconnect the footswitch from the pod right? i don't really need it if i am willing to make the pod and the footswitch one piece.

  • @VuTang01 yes!

  • really great job, man! I'm going to do the same, thanks for the guide!

  • is this a tough mod to do?

  • @BradSpead7 the soldering inside the pocket pod definitely require some skil

  • @joekataldo ok sorry bother you with another question, last one i promise. but when you solder, did u first desolder the pins and then resolder with the wire?

    Thanx.

  • @VuTang01 Nope its not necessary, you can simply add the wire.

  • can you please tell me where you got your panel mount ps/2 female connector? and if i am doing a 2 pedal version with just up and down, no tap/tuner, and i am using the blue wire as the ground, the orange as up, and the green as down, can u please explain what wires go to what switch in what order? i cannot tell from the pictures i have seen. thank you, if u help me out you will earn a new subscriber :)

  • I've done this mod to my Pocket Pod with two momentery open switchs and a small project box. I checked out your guide and your arrow numbers are off. I can confirm this with mine and also some on the French forums. The pin asignments are as follows:

    Down- 1

    Left- 2

    Right- 3

    Up- 4

    Ground- 5

    Nice job though.

  • @TheMadMusicMan sure it is, I had some hacking on my website right after I published it and I didn't had a copy of the tutorial, looks like I made a mistake when I retyped it, thanks for let me know, I already fixed it.

  • @joekataldo No problem, just thought I'd let everyone know. I think I may get me another switch and do the "Tap" button as well. Rock on.

  • @TheMadMusicMan you should is very handy have it on the floor ;-)

  • Would it be possible to post your guide for the footswitch somewherea else?? Or could you maybe send it to me??

I would love to modify my POD with such a footswitch.

  • @onesteptonowhere my website has been hacked, and I had to delete everything from the server to be secure again, I'm uploading a new version right now, the guide should be up in a couple of hours

  • @onesteptonowhere is online now

  • @onesteptonowhere my website is back online with the tutorial

  • Grande.... Vai avanti sempre così!

  • @antoniolambiase Grazie
